#TestingToSeeHowLongAHashtagCanPossiblyBeAndWhichClientsSupportThisLengthOfAHashtagSoJustIgnoreThisOrDont
Not that I know of. He asked a somewhat controversial question about a possible feature addition, and people voted overwhelmingly "No". But I think he was just trying to get an idea of what kinds of features people want and what they definitely don't want.
This reminds me, I was wondering if in the future most clients will support the ability to download your list of relays to a file and then upload that same list to other clients? I've had this bad user experience moment when I decided to use a web client on desktop and had to manually enter the same list of relays.
His big idea gave them hope and faith. Those are qualities that can start religions, thus people acting as if he/she/it is a god. It's all in the math. For all we know, satoshi could have been an entire group of people.
It's nice to be public by default imo because if it's going to replace likes in the long run, it will need something that somewhat resembles the function.
What you could do though, is when you first tap the zap button, you set your default settings then.
I had a feeling it was a bot so I skipped the Mount part to see if it would still catch it. I'll keep testing.
I'm considering going all in on a well-rounded nostr web application. I won't tell what it is yet until I get going on it.
I do know it won't be a client like the others, but it will have an integrated social layer supported by nostr for things like authentication, profiles, comment sections, and whatnot.
I've been doing web app stuff for so long now but I haven't felt this excited about something in years.
Big shout out to #[0] for sending me my first zap!
I've successfully used nodejs to interact with nostr and it wasn't that difficult. I'm liking this already. not used to it, but I'll get used to it. I think I want to build more than a bot now
nostr feels faster today. shout out to all the devs and node runners. magic is happening #nostr
Watching #nostr hack together the new internet is pretty cool to watch in real-time. They don't know what's coming!
Reaching out to the #nostr community. I'd like to develop some bots for nostr and I want to hear from the current community about what your favorite and most useful (or just fun) bots were that you loved to follow on Twitter. I'd like to build clones of them. Share this if you can! #nostrplebs #amethyst #damus #plebstr #nostriches
