True, it’s fair to learn from the past but at the same time, I don’t go around confirming that every publicly traded company actually holds the assets they claim to have on their balance sheet. And I know for a fact the banks only hold a fraction of the fiat that the companies claim to have. So if I truly want full adoption of btc, at some point I have to trust the soundness of the btc holding companies more than the fiat ones. Otherwise I’m still playing the fiat game.
They mean well. Very btc focused and simply rooting for the first company to stack sats, hodl and encourage other companies to do the same. Everyone fighting for btc adoption should be shown some support. Would we prefer businesses hold fiat?
