She is saying leaving babies with grandma for a week! That’s nuts! Just look at it from an evolutionary perspective right: if mom don’t breastfeed baby dies, and another uncomfortable truth is, that breastfeeding provides a hell of a lot more than nutrition to the kid. So that alone should give away that kids are supposed to be close to mom for at least a year, and that’s a minimum! The research, as she says, is also very clear!
A society that treat babies the way we in the west do, are truly a sign of rot at the core….. But I keep my hopes up for change

When becoming a parent there is an adjustment window, where you either learn this or you don’t. But if you truly realise the importance of your kids kontra other work/passions, the world with kids go from being exhausted to being like a fairytale!
