Maybe the incentives structures intrinsic to bitcoin are so pure that vapid surface level presentations of bitcoin are at worst a distraction. The fundamental precepts of freedom money are codified by Satoshi’s discovery/creation of digital scarcity, difficultly adjustment, amount of compute securing the network, node operators and common working folk who understand the value of bitcoin as a savings technology. To name a few. Ultimately there are two options for Bitcoin. Option one, Bitcoin is going up forever and will fundamentally change the nature of how human beings interact or option two, it will fail. There is no in between. Despite the lack of depth present at the convention it appears as though we’re currently witnessing option one play out.

Most of the world is seemingly reasonable and still they use and work for money that’s being inflated away at a rate of 7-10% per year.
I have a proposition for someone that understands the mechanics of lightning, micro payments, layer two solutions, Nostr, node running etc…. Here it is:
From a philosophical and Austrian Economics perspective Bitcoin and all of its ansilary technologies make perfect sense. However, from a technological perspective it clear as mud. I would be happy to provide the questions to someone who can provide the answers. The developer community of bitcoin is truly amazing but from a technological outsider the community remains opaque and unapproachable. If there was a household name Nostr feed that no ice bitcoiners could turn to that broke down the technical aspects of the bitcoin ecosystem in terms that common bitcoiners could grasp that would do a lot to foster adoption. Like I said l, I’ll provide the lack of understanding and someone with the understanding can provide the explanation.
