space marine 2 is great. i'm sure a lot of you guys were deprived little boys who though you were too cool for tabletop, but not only as a 40k game, it's fun

All of your models will be destroyed.

Except this one.

crypto means without conviction or focus

GM. In the UK we don't have public holidays. We have slave master holidays.

Don't understand why you'd want to build in someone else's walled garden. Fuck em.

I think we are mostly in agreement.

While there are elements of the left and right that I agree with, perhaps more with the right nowadays, I lean libertarian and generally reject siding with either idealogues.

I still agree with the sentiment of his song, it's hard not to, but I think the context in which diversity is used today is generally something I don't align with. It's another term that has largely been coopted by globalists to continue with their destructive agendas. I think we should pay attention to the words people use, particularly when they are being broadcast by the media. 'Unifying' over this kind of language isn't something I can get behind. Cultures should be preserved instead of being attacked. I do not believe that diversity is a strength, in the way it is portrayed as Western and European culture is bad while all others should be celebrated.

For example, the UK is by default an Anglo culture, yet all we ever hear via the mainstream is how there are too many white people and a lack of representation of other cultures in sport, politics, etc. The mayor of London recently made comments that 'white families' are not representative of London, and there are too many white men on the Transport for London board. The irony of a Muslim man who is the mayor of London making these comments is too much for me.

This is of course ridiculous when viewed in the context of any other nation, nor is it true in the UK itself. Diversity is only ever an issue when there is a white majority, even when that is the default culture in a nation.

But we aren't allowed nuance in conversation anymore, which I consider tragic for everyone since people take up hard positions aligning with one side or the other.

I fully agree with you.

I just don't think we should bin him off for these words / this sentiment

Seems like he's speaking his mind again tbh.

It's a limited clip but it sounds like a criticism of the left as well as right for using diversity as a means to divide us.

I don't agree that diversity is inherently good anymore than it's inherently bad.

Having a quota of a certain demographic for a company is destructive and devisory, rather than constructive and unifying.

I think he'd agree with me on the latter point.

He's not the most based person in the world. Don't expect him to be. But there's a better chance of the left listening to the problems which he clarifies in his music if he gives them reasons not to conflate him with Trump.

Or we can all just reject him because he doesn't fit our camp.

You're right that I'm picking up on the one bit that makes my brow furrow though 😂

Bit of a simplistic view of "the internet" 🙃 I mean, look how many people his song has touched because it was on "the internet". But not without truth.

Saving in these conditions is an uphill battle.

Given how bad inflation and real wages have got, I suspect this is the toughest 1st bear market so far by some distance.

I suspect the next one will be even tougher.

I have so much respect for plebs old and new.
