The United States Banking System: don’t verify, trust.

Not underrated whatsoever down here in Mexico City, mi carnal! Let the nostriches know how that turns out. Buen provecho!

The difference here is that wealthy people are getting fucked, so there will inevitably be printing. The contagion has spread to the legacy system.

jajaja realmente igual a los tios que tienen algunos eh?

Currently in Mexico City, which I tell people is like living in another state without the tax implications (provided the person has residency).

Amazing, was unaware! I have some mutual contacts down there and intend to (hopefully) make a trip to glean some of the lessons they’ve learned along the way. Tip of the spear initiative they’ve got going on down there!

I’m in lending bc if I can’t orange pill people the 2nd-best route for wealth preservation for 9/10 retail folks is owning their primary residence as long as their mortgage is decently below inflation and they didn’t buy a money pit. Also looking into helping people cash in their equity to buy abroad, but that’s a work in progress.

Correct, both are frontrunners. As I’m Argentinian I’ll be partking in my first presidential election to vote for Bitcoin one way or another. I’m a mortgage broker about to sell my house for BTC if you want another interesting topic to kick around, lol.

Former 9th Grade English teacher and ESL intstructor as well, would love to hear more about your work with teachers. Planning on implementing some sort of community-focused BTC education and advocacy in Córdoba, Argentina where I’ll be located.

Whether it’s dollarization (which would be a temporary triage of sorts) or Bitcoin adoption, the two leading presidential candidates, and the vast majority of the population, are in favor of abandoning the peso, and therefore the Argentinian Central Bank. Perfect void for Bitcoin to move into in similar fashion to what has occurred in El Salvador. Argentinians actually know who Bukele is and are pointing to the drop in crime and rise in economic optimsm as an example to follow.

I think Argentina is the next country to adopt Bitcoin, so I’m moving down there in September. AMA.

I’m not concerned about the violence in mexico for the same reason I’m not concerned about the violence in the Southside of Chicago. I’m not involved in the drug trade.

I’d asking the same violence question to any American: a mass shooting can happen literally anywhere, so the danger is far more prescient. Again, temporary residency is fairly simple for a US citizen working remotely. Tax exemption for the win.

Where?

For now México and Argentina. El Salvador beckons. Mexican residency is fairly simple to establish if you work remote on a US salary. Happy to answer any expatriation questions for you if you’re from the US.
