Coca de llardons.
Today is "dijous gras" (something like fatty thursday), the day in Catalonia when we celebrate the starting of carnival eating sausage and this cake made from "llardons", a sort of bacon. You should taste it!
Then, next wednesday we close this celebrating days with "l'enterro de la sardina" (the burial of the sardine) that is a street parade that simulates the burial of this fish and, almost in my town, finishes with eating barbacued sardines.
Do you celebrate carnaval in your conutry? Some special traditions?
Suena lógico lo de "Jaqui Aru", cierto. Creo que hay otras culturas con denominaciones similares. Me alegro hayas reconectado con tus raices. Una pena que encima tengais el problema del maltrato ecológico-territorial. Me alegro que toméis iniciativa y ojalá podais conseguir mantener viva cuestra cultura. One thing I think that needs to be improved is that when you access Amethyst it loads new notes and starts to move all the timeline making impossible to left the app thinking "ok, I'll read later from here" because from here disapears as soon as one goes in again. The same if you click one note to read comments, when you return all is gone and refreshed. At least this is a serious problem for me on the global tab. I would prefer the notes to load but nothing moved, and I can them scroll at my own rythm and read what I want without rush.

Tienes razón, mucha y gracias por hacerme notar mi incongruencia, en que el inglés es también lengua de imposición tan o más salvaje que el español, pero no es la que está acabando con la mia. Aymara me suena, la denominación Jaqi Aru no la conocía, gracias por enseñarme algo nuevo. No sé cómo están las lenguas indigenas de LATAN de salud pero sí sé que mi lengua está en estado cada vez más crítico por los cambios demográficos de mi país y por la participación del estado español que entre bellas palabras de protección esconde la erosión e incluso substitución continuada del catalán. Esta semana pasada salió un estudio que relata cómo ha cambiado el panorama lingüístico de mi país los últimos años y es alarmante. Justo al poco se me cruzó tu nota y pensé "pues ojalá estuviera escrita en una lengua indígena y esa tuviera suficiente presencia en internet como para que los traductores automáticos la pudieran traducir". Aún y con eso, no creo quenlos catalanes seamos una comunidad indígena per se ni que la evolución de nuestras lemguas en relación con el castellano sea comparable. Te repito que no sé cómo vais en LATAM con la relación entre lenguas, pero en Catalunya, la idea de que "en español nos entendemos todos" es la que está acabando con el catalán a marchas forzadas. Y me cuesta horrores aceptarlo aunque sé que no puedo hacer mucho.
