Segway: Actually, Hangeul (the Korean script) is no longer exclusive to Hangugeo (the Korean language) for a few years now (hmm, I think already a decade). One such using it officially and legally is the Cia-Cia language.

The Latin script cannot fully capture the requirements of the Cia-Cia Language, and can even cause confusion even with the natives. But once Hangeul was adopted and taught in schools, it just worked perfectly. Hangeul can fully represent the Cia-Cia Language in written form.

There are other nations currently working on adopting Hangeul too, inspired by the success for the Cia-Cia Language. Even the dead or forgotten proposals to adopt Hangeul back in pre, during, and post WW2 era, are being revisited.

Sadly, mobile technology still hasn't caught up with the changes. For example, there are two obsolete Jamo the Cia-Cia Language is using which standard Hangeul is no longer using. Then again, even in Korea, there are obsolete Jamo they are still using themselves but can't be found in mobile keyboards. And there are yet to be translator services, neural or otherwise, supporting Cia-Cia in Hangeul script.

So, at least for now, it's still safe to assume that Hangeul (Korean script) means Hangugeo (Korean language). Maybe in 2030 or 2040, it'll be felt online. The Latin script is not ideal for many Asian languages but Hangeul is perfect. Even for the 200 languages and dialects here in the Philippines, we can better express our languages in Hangeul than in Latin script.

Naah, it's not the entire Fediverse. It's primarily the Mastodon.social people who are mostly Twitter refugees and were brainwashed by Meta and Twitter to think like them. They're usually the same people who call the Fediverse "Mastodon" despite the developer of their software saying otherwise.

It's actually the same over at ATmosphere, brainwashed refugees forcing their own Meta/Twitter mindset on the network, despite the developers saying otherwise. 🤦🏽🤷🏽

What they want is another Meta/Twitter. Walled-garden network, but since none of them can build a social network by themselves, they are desperate in taking over the the most popular software (Mastodon in Fediverse's case) and the network itself (in ATmosphere's case).

They don't because they forced Bridgy to implement "opt-in". And in this particular case, they don't care about opt-in, it's anti-person, complete hatred and attack on a person, they don't care if there are innocents affected by their attacks. (Like what terrorist groups do.)

What they're doing now is literally the social version of EEE.

Step 4: Create issues that weren't there since social network federation started in 2008

Some friendly reminders:

1. They are mostly from the Twitter Migration 2.0 batch.

2. They are Mastodon® software users.

3. They are a minority even within the Mastodon® software community.

4. Even more so a minority if we count the rest of the Fediverse social network.

Nothing wrong with it. However, this feature should be implemented in the software they are using not demanding other software to implement it for them.

They don't want to be discovered? Then turn-off discoverability on their account. If their software doesn't support, go file a suggestion on their software's repo.

Permissions are set on your account which means software support. You don't force it on others.

Look at Hubzilla and Streams, it has the most extensive permissions in the entire [Open] Social Web. They did it right.

The burden is on the software you are using. If it s*cks, then move elsewhere, Mastodon® is not the only microblogging/macroblogging/status updates Fediverse software available.
