Exactly! And more than half the time, the meetings were/are not necessary. We either got so used to it, or we're quietly using it to temporarily halt work and get a breather (and just chat during meetings -- in which case, the problem is the work, probably toxic).

Hmmβ¦ #Primal devs, I think it is a bug that the 1 notification on the βSettingsβ section is never cleared no matter what. It's for the primal web interface. ^_^
In 2010 (iirc), I simply called everything as #DDFON or the βDecentralised, Distributed, Federated, Open, Networkβ. It covers everything.
Last year, I started calling DDFON as #MycelialWeb and the different networks as #Mycelium or #MyceliumNetwork. This based on the idea someone submitted in my polls over the #Fediverse (sadly gone, the instances where I conducted the polls are now offline, thought there should still be some copy/archive somewhere).
In nature, a mycelium is a network of mycelia. And a collection of mycelium network is called mycelial.
So:
* #XMPP Mycelium network
* #Matrix Mycelium network
* #ActivityPub Mycelium network (or simply Fediverse)
* #ATproto Mycelium network (or simply #BlueSky / #Bsky)
* #Nostr Mycelium network
* #Diaspora Mycelium network
* and so on.
And together, these are called the #Mycelial Web.
If the above is confusing, another option is to go back to the umbrella term that was used since 2005, and somehow fell out of use: the #SocialWeb.
The umbrella term is: Social Web. And within it are the different mycelium networks. Or, βtechnicallyβ, DDFON (Decentralised, Distributed, Federated, Open, Network).
