The easiest (but probably not the best) way would be to install Primal on your mobile device and get a wallet through there. They charge a bit extra for SATs though because they have to make money on the transaction.🤷♂️

Too new. When it has more features, I'd be willing to give it another try. Right now, it's basically a Mastodon app but a very minimalistic one. The features for Nostr mimic that experience.
If you're on Android, I would recommend Amethyst over primal because primal doesn't update as often so the features are a little lacking. 🤷♂️ I use it on Android because I have a wallet hosted on it and it's easier for me to zap people that way. Otherwise, I use amethyst on Android.
It is pretty awesome. Though, the dev doesn't really care about what users think unfortunately. There was a "view count" feature that I liked and he said it was going away so I expressed my disappointment and he said "a lot of people liked it, but I think it's time for it to go". Which basically sounds like "fuck you guys, this is what I want"....😬🤦♂️

Ah, I see. I do think Nostr is doing it the right way for the most part when it comes to that.
Though, the issue for me, besides the low user count, is that there's only 1 way that I know of right now to have my own "site" on Nostr without having any programming knowledge. That's ditto and unfortunately due to the fact that ditto is so new, a lot of things don't work or are very buggy.
When I can be myself and promote my own stuff, it'll be better for me. But as of right now, I have very little reason to be here.
Yeah...the issue is the sustainability of Nostr and the actual user base. If there were more than a 1% user retention, maybe I'd be here more. However, when there's 1.5 million users and only 15k active, it leaves a lot to be desired. I've literally been trying to give away money and nobody is engaging with the post...🤦♂️
