My grandmother is Dutch, but I had no idea about this colony...
Tempted, but 4 days of flights for 2 days of conference and one day at the beach is tough. Will wait till Maya wins and do a month long vacation next year instead to really dig into the local culture..

Definitely have to check it out! So Rad.
Nourish your gut microbiome with healthy bacteria and KOJI ferments and put an end to that sh*t. It's not rocket science. :)
I make KOJI Kin in my basement all year around and then ferment it to make sweet Amasake and Shio Koji -- the ultimate fresh alkaline ferments, which I use like condiments -- one sweet, one salty --- depending on your cravings! Add them to any food, taste the UMAMI and feel the satiety within a few bites, cut your food bills in half as a result of eating less but feeling more satisfied...
Good Lucky Day!
Now that nostr:nprofile1qqstzt0wugc7sklvr8e7fcl7ukyn63ym3ns4nmf2mnk0vqnz4l9x65qpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqguwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxumm5d4skuerpw3hhy7fwdaexwqgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghx66tyv3kxjmn89ekhjerwwvhx5uq9ezhgl has joined the #Nostr party, Dr. Anthony Chaffee is my clear #1 target.
I recorded round 2 with him last week, this time as a guest on his channel (first time he was my guest), and I went DEEP on #bitcoin.
Since him and his audience are brand new to #btc, I decided to focus purely on that, and not bring Nostr into it too; it would've been too much of a firehose.
I DID sneak Nostr in at the very end though, as "another thing people should check out 😉😉" so the touchpoint to him & his 400K subs will be locked in once he uploads the episode.
If y'all are subscribed to/following him on the legacy socials, it would definitely help to hit him with "WEN NOSTR" wherever you can. As of now I'm the only person who's mentioned it to him so he could use more nudges from the masses.
ONWARD 🚀 #grownostr
Like the button says: "Vegetarians do it better". P.S. 70% of the world is vegetarian, so check your meat privilege. Besides I am #allergic to meat.

GM Nostr Ecosytem! Over hump day, in week three, of this social media experiment called Nostr and the universe is unfolding as it should... Had a W.E.I.R.D convo on the plebwork site regarding a possible gig that did not pan out as, frankly, the British dude is trying to make a film about Bitcoin and after asking to see my portfolio wanted a Bitcoin expert and not a SOCIAL UX Designer or even better still a SOCIAL information architect to handle his SOCIAL media account in spite of the fact that I possess a fine beginner's mind with which to engage with the commoners... clearly he knows nothing about the latest update to the UX model in which the Conceptual layer was swapped in and now dominates the UX world. Sigh.

sure, the Mediterranean diet falls under the Macrobiotic dietary practice In fact, only Japan and Italy still honour that way of eating

I like the "proper" human diets that are backed by thousands of years of study and the process of fermentation based on "cultures" of microbes that truly nourish the gut microbiome and do not destroy it by making it too ACIDIC, regardless of whether you eat this or that food, be it just meat or just veg or a combo of the two ---- like the sacred fungus known as #KOJI. These fermented cultures are not considered "proper" by any standards of Colonial British Hygiene of course, but at one point, were actual Schools of Thought & Practice based on brilliant concepts which arose in the East -- mostly in Japan. I also like the Greek philosophy that "All Disease begins in the Gut" which became the foundation for Macrobiotics, a concept that reappeared again in 1796, when Dr. Christoph Wilhelm Hufeland, a famous Prussian physician, published his book Macrobiotics: The Art of Prolonging Life. So called "western" science which has given us the SAD diet is just beginning to recognize the importance of the gut microbiome in all aspects of human health and well being...

Koji is for UMAMI for all! #KOJI
