Yesterday, the game was Horseless Carriage. Difficult economic game about the origin of the automobile. When cars where born, everything was to be defined. Consumer habits, use cases, expected features were to be defined. From a mechanical point of view, the game gets to avoid the continuous movement of money by using a puzzle. Gives same sense of scarcity. Very clever. But lots of components and lots of space. #boardgames #splotterspellen #splottergames

For those of you who are starting with #boardgames I strongly recommend this page. It’s a huge database where you can find almost everything, from reviews, to rule translations, and rule and strategy questions.
Settlers is nice. I haven’t played it so much but some friend told me recently it works very well with her daughter.
Do you know is there a cooperative version? Really nice to play with the kids.

Just if any board gamer here. I tried Banish the Snakes from GMT. Simple cooperative game on St Patrick history in Ireland. I think it was fun. Maybe I’d prefer deeper games but this one is short (2-1.5 hours for 2-player). 
Muy interesante. Estaré pendiente si hacéis algo más básico. Tengo mucho por aprender.
