I’m just a pizza guy that cares deeply about freedom.

We’ve asked Revhodl to help us start up a mining rig in a pole barn we have in town. So we are going to have him give his talk on Home Mining and then take a 5 block drive to the pole barn, and actually show us all how to set it up. I’m pretty stoked about finally making this happen! Hope to c some of u there! Please share this far and wide.

Just took my son and his girlfriend to the airport for them to fly home after spending a month with us here in Michigan. It was FANTASTIC to have them here that long.

But It never gets any easier to say goodbye.

The studio is ready, Danny's flights are booked, and next week we’ll begin recording episodes for our new podcast.

I wanted to share the reasons behind this shift as many have been asking. Three primary factors influenced this decision:

1. I hate making remote shows—I never want to do them again. These interviews need the intimacy of being in person.

2. Traveling constantly has been detrimental to my health and my family.

3. My commitments here with the football club and local community are growing.

So, the solution was clear: build a studio in the UK and produce the show locally.

We’ve secured a fantastic space in Soho, London, and we’re ready to go but given the limited number of Bitcoin guests available in the UK or those willing to fly in, it’s time to retire What Bitcoin Did.

Our new podcast will be similar in feel but will cover a broader range of topics. While some episodes will focus on Bitcoin (though less frequently), most will explore other interesting topics or people.

Having made nearly 900 episodes covering a wide range of #bitcoin topics and guests, we’re now aiming higher. By diversifying our content and guests, we hope to introduce more people to the concept of sound money through podcast osmosis. If we get this right, it will be a bigger show, if we get it wrong, well we tried.

For a long time I have felt there is a need to get out of the #bitcoin corner of the party. Real Bedford FC was a way of integrating sound money into a traditional business model. CheatCode purposely did not include Bitcoin in the title, so changing the show feels like a natural next step.

Sometimes when stuck in the #bitcoin landscape you can lose site of how other people in the world think, lose empathy for the complexities of the world. I have felt this. I'd come home from spending two weeks with Bitcoiners and be with friends and family locally and notice a distinct difference in how we see the world. As everything feels like it is going to shit, I feel like there is a bigger job to do now.

The Bitcoin podcast landscape is well served, from Marty and Odell to Natalie and Preston, from The Blue Collar guys to Stefan Livera and anyone I haven't mentioned. There’s no shortage of high-quality Bitcoin podcasts.

However, there seems to be some fatigue in the space, with similar guests and topics being revisited. With our new show we want to bring fresh perspectives and ideas, aligning with sound money where relevant—think of the shows we’ve had with the likes of Eric Weinstein and Michael Malice.

On a personal note, I’m need the challenge, test myself wider, get fit and find a good woman. I can't do this travelling all the time.

When I started the podcast my life was a shit show - divorced, coming off drugs, heading towards bankruptcy. I've had an incredible 7 years, travelled the world, made amazing friends and got to live my dream by buying my local football club.

To everyone who has helped us get this far - the guests, the listeners, the sponsors, we could not have done this without you. I am forever in your debt.

I hope you’ll check out the new show and enjoy it, though it may not be for some of you. Regardless, Danny and I will work hard to deliver the best show possible, like we always have.

Roll on The McCormack Show!

Good luck sir

What in how hell is going on in the UK in regards to suppression of Freedom of Speech. Holy crap…

True. If the left wins the presidency this time, I fear not only will building on Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining, be severely impeded in this country, but much worse can happen.

Is a libertarian conservative I would much rather have a Ron Paul, Rand Paul, or Thomas Massie, but we’re not gonna get that this time. And maybe never. I’ll take no new wars. I’ll take drilling and pipelines. I’ll take a stronger border. I’ll take FreeRoss Ulbricht. And I’ll take pardoning the J Sixers.

All of which, IMO, benefits, the bitcoin network.

The finished mural!

The artist surprised me with an add-on after I had left town (headed to Bitcoin2024). It was a bit risky for him to do that IMO, because I was not consulted. But I have to admit - it was a great plus. Here’s a pic of the end result. Fricken Fantastic!

Made it to Nashville.

C some of ya tomorrow.

I listened to this podcast more than all others combined. Ty for all you have done to move the needle forward. Very impressive sir.

I tried to donate some cash to you a few years ago in Nashville - because I was completely new to bitcoin

(and we were still in the midst of the tyranny insanity) and I wanted it to go to wherever it could help most to foster freedom, which bitcoin means to me.

You said you would rather I divide it up and donate to some homeless people (which was admirable) but I wanted it to go to helping make BTC stronger.

I think you probably thought I was a whack job - Haha (when I am really just a simple freedom minded pizza guy).

Preston Pysh actually intervened and accepted the check from me on your behalf (though it was never cashed) (and I’ve since donated btc to stuff you and others have suggested - Canadian truckers, etc).

Freedom - for me, my children, my grandchildren, my country, the world; means more to me than anything.

And I never felt it in a more precarious state than in the last few years.

I thank you again, for all you have done, all whom you have helped, and all you have inspired.

Absolutely great job sir.

I wish you well.

Headed to Nashville in early morning. (About a 7 hr. Drive)

See some of you tonight!

So this will be the 2nd Presidential race in a row that Biden doesn’t campaign for ?

Can only take so much bitcoin and so much political talk (though I do more than my fair share if it). If you bitch on one side of the ledger - and I do - you I gotta keep building on the other. I’ve been wanting to do a mural in my hometown for 3 years. It’s almost to fruition now..

Working on a mural in my Hometown of Colon, MI. Hired a GREAT mural artist out of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Mike Bowers.

Can’t wait to see the finished product!

Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock and Dana White. Damn good lead up to his speech.

If Bitcoin pulls politicians in, I think that’s a good thing, no?

I don’t think we have to idolize any politician, nor any BTC “star”.

As they say - alway be ready slay your heroes.

But If and until they fall - let them help build and foster the adoption.

If Republicans are pro-bitcoin that’s a good thing.

If Trump is becoming pro-bitcoin that’s a good thing.

And if Trump wins and actually Frees Ross, that is a great thing.

I think it’s a great thing. I live in Michigan. During the Scam-Demic BS our Dem governor was a tyrannical bitch. Thankfully we live only 20 mins from Indiana. We drove down there constantly for some freedom. And I drove (because I would not wear their slave mask to fly) to Florida 5x’s for some freedom.

It was pretty obvious Rep governors (as bad as they were)

were far, far better than Dems.

So I’m hoping for more republicans in the vain of a Thomas Massie, or Rand Paul.

Further - I’ll take another crack at secured borders, sane and legal immigration, a court a little more to the right, more favorable administration towards energy.

Trump has now spoken in favor of BTC. And the cherry on top: Freeing Ross.

I’m not a hero worshiper, - that includes (as good as they may be for now) Saylor, Mallers, many others.

As the saying goes you always have to be ready to slay your heroes when they fail.

But - for now - I see this as a big win for bitcoin.

Later Today I’ll watch a parade in Honor of freedom.

And yet more than 1/2 the people in the crowd did squat to fight against the tyranny we saw foisted on the world the last 4 years.

And ironically (and sadly) they will not think anything of it…
