Corporations would be a great case study for this. Look at how hugely successful an organization can be when it's young and how broken they become after 50+ years. IBM and Boeing come to mind immediately

I don't mind the boomer rock people. They identified the correct problem with fiat but picked the second best solution. Physical gold and silver is better than federal reserve notes, just not as good as bitcoin.
