There should exist an anti-zap button. Like if you post something really bad, people will request zaps as payment for the lost time spent on the post.
This is the phenomenon described by Jason Lowerly in his Softwar thesis: man is being domesticated by a ruling class. If they have it their way, humanity will eventually be genetically trapped (the race won’t have what it takes to stand up to it’s masters), just like chickens and cows… but then, there’s Bitcoin and hope for a better path.
