Old amateur programmer and a lethargic poster. Any likes of the likes of food I may like in no way implies I would like it if I ate it and also doesn't imply I approve of the ingredients of said liked food. Who knows? Maybe it's just a like for the effort involved in its creation.

It's not generally known that The Queen had bellybutton shame, which is why you hardly ever saw her in a bikini.

Election debate, New Zealand style...

There'll eventually be a couple of leader's debates, (meaning between the PM and the Leader of the Opposition), which are probably the only ones that matter. Although there will be a third-party leaders debate (or two) too, I guess.

A slight error in your description there, Flick. It's 54 square miles, not acres. :))

How much methane do you lawn clippings produce? :))

I've noticed people talk about EVs (offline), but without mentioning climate change. I think for most now it's just a given, unless they're looking for any reason not to buy an EV.

What they talk about with EVs is cost and how long the batteries will last, since they'll want to sell it one day. NZ's a country where half of the cars imported are second-hand cars. Which means half of the cars we import are five to ten years old to begin with. This applies to EVs too, and so they're mostly 1st or 2nd generation Leafs. What's their range, and what will it be in five years or so?

The second-hand market are where the most polluting cars are bought and sold. Are second-hand EVs competing with them? You can check it out on TradeMe.

What similar little ICE hatchbacks cost.

You'd be blue too if you were orange.

NZ First may possibly get into parliament again in this year's election. They've had the balance of power in previous elections and Winston was the deputy PM in the current Labour government's first term and has been a Minister in National led governments a few times, his party being formed after he left National following a stormy relationship with them a few decades back.

That was just a lucky day a few days ago. It's been wet a lot in Auckland of late by all accounts. I came here just to post the video, but I thought I'd mention the weather too for some reason. :))

They use an Australian version of the US CPAC logo on their website and their speakers list for their last conference was full of ex-members of the Trump administration. And 'values' from their POV would mean conservative Christian values. They're a wing of the US CPAC, plain and simple. And you can't deny they funded Posy Parker's trip to Australia.
