Hey, I just found a few stray sats in my nostr:npub1earna05hx6ax38r33h3atmecjzdu547m8suw87w70aw6mlyga4hsqcja5j wallet that I haven’t used in over a month. Gonna zap these out in the #zapathon.

How do I change what wallet I can zap from?

Bitcoin only survives if there are people who believe in it, and are willing to fight.

Those who can balance the dichotomy between the physical and the abstract are the true masters of this domain.

Just as mammals typically exhibit sexual dimorphism in their species, humans also seem to exhibit some kind of cognitive dimorphism where certain individuals prefer and lean towards abstract power hierarchies, while other individuals prefer and lean towards physical power hierarchies. I don’t know if I would call them psychopaths or evil. It's all completely natural behavior for a species that is capable of complex abstract thought.

One of the best things about #Bitcoin in this era of broken legacy internet architecture is that you can look at mempool data and know for a fact that data is "real"

Do you think Bitcoiners are prepared?

Domesticated animals are pretty peaceful. Or are they just weak and ineffectual? The transition to a Bitcoin standard is going to get wild and I don't think most people are thinking about this. Bitcoins "coins" are just software abstractions which represent real world decentralized scarce resources. Because of this, it's going to cause real world decentralization of our current power hierarchies.

#Bitcoin is an institution. People enjoy talking about removing money from state, but are people really prepared to stand up and cease paying taxes. Are people prepared to excercise a high degree of civil disobedience. Are people prepared to simply be unsympathetic to the legacy system and its rule of law and regulations? Something tells me most Bitcoiners aren't prepared for this fight.. because that's what it's going to be.

At some point in the future, this "peaceful" revolution is going to turn violent and people will literally have to fight for the future they believe in.

#Bitcoin is powerful

Tick tock, next block

War is simply a kinetic proof-of-work protocol.

Bitcoin is an electric proof-of-work protocol.

People don't understand war, and therefore fail to fully grasp Bitcoin.

Hashrate continues to increase. It is continually getting cheaper and cheaper to participate in mining in #Bitcoin denominated terms. So ask yourself where the security budget argument is coming from. It's coming from people who want to instill fear into people and actually create new attack vectors. There is no security budget problem.
