God I love it. The purity and efficiency you get with a tiny team of rockstar developers is astounding. As a small business owner and sole developer in a company of ~3 I get half-mast for highly efficient operations.

Every social media platform I’ve been part of has had its plateau of signal to noise: digg, Reddit, slashdot, hacker news, Twitter, etc.. all “died” for me from a mixture of the same fatal ingredients: popularity, corporatocracy and closed source inflexibility. Nostr can truly fix all of these.
I fully expect the open relay model to “die” once Nostr gets more popular but I’m super bullish on the flexibility the platform provides to create paid curated type experiences that improve signal to noise.
Hardware specs? Probably gonna be more constrained on disk IO / bandwidth then CPU I’d imagine
