Yeah, good points. However even crypto can be easily converted into bitcoin. It is acquiring a crypto assett outside of an exchange that is a pain.
I have heard about a lot of people who sell at the top, trying to buy on the dip.
This is not me.. I just buy.
A lot of people would like to buy from these people who do this. Why not keep bitcoin a circular economy? As long as everyone pay their taxes.

500,000 sats was just a number. Could be 1 bitcoin or whatever fraction you wanted to trade.
Transferring only at bitcoin meetups seems like it would be inefficient as you would not know until you got there if someone wanted to transfer with you.

People exchange bitcoin everyday for fiat cash. Sometimes one needs to sell a little bitcoin, for groceries, etc. Or wants to buy a little bitcoin.
Yet you never see someone say: selling 500,000 sats for spot price. I live in this state I can meet in person.
Maybe I am wrong but a money transmitter license is for handling other people’s money correct? Handling of third parties money I know needs a license. No question.
However a private transfer as long as you report gains and such on your taxes. Is this legal or not?
If I am encouraging legal tax reporting. Why would it be illegal to advertise buying and selling of bitcoin on here?
When people have cash fiat they do what they want. Is bitcoin to be regulated only? Are people to afraid, even if it is legal? Or is it illegal?
