100%. On my path to discovery especially surprising to me was when I understood how many people (almost all) were trying to look rich while being poor. It was like, wait, so you are those richies that everybody envies, but actually you are that poor? And stupid? Only trying to impress other fools like yourselves at a huge cost of everything but especially time while not gaining for yourselves anything.
So I listened to the latest podcast with nostr:npub12nrr09tnly4mw63ekcute7jey2l5v6hrmy20ef5wrzu88qhxem2ql8m9uc and it only confirmed my old fear - #bitcoin is too good to be true or to last long. Eventually (hopefully I will be long dead) they will do to it what they did to Ashoka's buddhism in India. #bitcoin is only alive and gaining power thanks to the "Ashokas" of bitcoin times, who are basically Trump and the influencers and "world leaders" who support him. Like brahmins from the past eventually literally erased buddhism in India, so in the future there will be "brahmins" from the past who will erase bitcoin. And they will do it in some ridiculous way that nobody can imagine now.

But normies certainly ruled over me when I lived in Soviet Union and no less afterwards up until I found bitcoin in 2021 (Trump family orangepilled me). Then after Soviets I had to work my ass off for years (because immoral conduct was unacceptable for me) to be able to even go see mountains and oceans for the first time in my life. That's how they ruled me then. Then after I learned to play the western game, I had to either play that game with paying unfair salaries, playing everyone else with debt, stocks and all that scammery, or go back to living in the woods in a robe and keeping to myself. Looking back to the rest of history thousands of years back, it seems it was very similar. Buddha had to either fight in wars and pick a side of the abused or abuser or stay in woods in a robe. But at least he was allowed to preach freely. Same time and later in Europe the only escape was to stay in christian monastery but no right to preach any truth, just keeping mouth shut and pretending to be a believer. Muslim world - no different from Christian.

The message is not to you, it is to the normies. As you are aware, normies' vocabulary does not contain word permissionless. They must be allowed by the big gov.
Let's be realistic. Either we rule the normies or the normies rule us. Any intermediate states are very short lived. The only way to rule the normies is to lie to them about many things, most things in fact. Hopefully eventually bitcoin together with religions (first many, than just the ultimate one) will eliminate the need for lieing, but that moment has not come yet and still is far behind the horizon.

Any "libertarian" who does not wholeheartedly by thought and by action support Trump is not just any kind of traitor of libertarians, he/she is specifically a willing CIA agent.

We do need politician's support. If they block all state controlled, i.e. legally operating, miners and exchanges from self-custody, we are not buying any bitcoin that is left to be mined, i.e. we have only what we already have and exchange only between ourselves.
I prefer to be able to buy more bitcoin and buy services and goods from normies, no matter how stupid they are and what form of payment they accept.
What do we care about hyperinflation and national deficit, normies are screwed anyway.
