Buddha cared only about an individual. That means he did not care about any smaller nor larger organisms, such as individual cells or states, companies, gangs, families, dynasties, etc. That means all of his teaching is about how to make the life of an individual the best possible. It does not play into the hands of any other of those organisms. They can exist, but only if and when they do not deteriorate the life of any individual, and benefit every single one of them. Not specific ones, not some, not most, EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Now keep the above in mind.
Buddha taught that morality, mindfulness, concentration and wisdom are all equal and all above everything else. Notice how that does not include things like letting the heart lead the way, feelings, sorrow, any kind of love, finding undescribable inner self, instincts, animal instincts, hedonism, etc.
Do you know why? Because the other religions, philosophies, teachings that do give any significance to them, by doing that are purposefully trying to keep the individual in a realm of animals as much as possible. Animals don't think, they feel, you see. Matrix needs that because only animals can be domesticated and utilized. I will remind that nowadays the Matrix is most likely the descendants (either through blood or not, but most importantly through teaching) of the evil Romans.
In his times, I don't think Buddha was fighting the matrix. I don't think it existed back then. He fought ignorance that caused chaos and kept the humans from living their best lifes. But now his teaching is an enemy of the matrix. That is why they invented or promoted the other pre-existant religions and modified/complicated/mystified many branches of buddhism. At this point I have to also give credit to Islam, which also seems to be an enemy of the matrix. It seems like Islam stole the religion of the matrix (christianity) and rooted out all the evil from it. But of course, these days, Islam, just like Buddhism, have many agents (concious and unconcious) of the matrix operating within.

It does not discuss in any detail the multiplication and sex. Which, in the lifes of many humans, come before they are able to properly understand Dhamma, which then causes a lot of trouble in their lifes which could have been avoided had they understood Dhamma first.
I want to offer a simpler shortcut to avoid creating the problems.
Sex is for creating children, not for hedonism. Although, as a side effect it does create a narcotic-like sensation, that can be addictive. Similar like you get from eating sugar, caffeine, etc. Something that tingles your nervous cells. But unlike sugar and caffeine, it is addictive only until you learn everything you wanted to learn in it, and then it becomes boring, not the least bit addictive. So if you still crave for sex, you ain't no hero, you are just not getting what you want, or a loser who stubbornly wants to keep believing in Santa Claus forever.
Anyway:
1. Those who have not experienced sex yet, or not experienced it enough, should only engage in having sex with an intention to create a child. Else you will get stuck in dissatisfactoriness, never find what you are looking for, and will be blocked from living the rest of your life well. I mean even in all other aspects other than sex.
2. Once you decide to make a child, don't use no pregnancy tests. Instead, try making it very multiple times any different ways that are curious for you for months until you made it and have had enough of it. If your other half does not want the same as you, don't make children and don't have sex together not even once. Find a fitting one.
That's it. Sex won't be causing you any problems before, during and after in this way.
In general, sex is mostly a Santa Claus created by the matrix.

Not trying to insult anyone, but facts are facts. I know 4 european languages, of which 2 are normal and 2 absurd. Specifically Lithuanian and Russian are normal, while English and Spanish are absurd. So many simple things are not possible to express in those languages.
