Something that prevented wallet drains. Decentralisation is good until you’ve lost your money to malware or social engineering - I’m trying to reach you, no idea if you’re reading this!

There are too many drains and rugs these days. I have a solution.

Thanks! I too need to rid myself of the dad bod, without even being a dad yet ;)

Besides mastering Bitcoin and programming Bitcoin, what newer books are there for developers to get onboard?

VC funding for open source, depends on rapid growth of a community.

The bet is for the ecosystem to succeed, while you also manage to eek out the right financials.

If the financials aren’t met, you’re thinking hard how to milk the community.

And when all else fails, you rug the license.

All this can change beyond just VC funding of course; public listed companies, PE firms, etc.

The secret to success is to ensure a good percentage of customers actually pay, ie subsidize the community.

it is not like other billionaires haven't been to fosdem, many years ago mark shuttleworth gave a talk. today, mitchell baker from firefox gave a talk too (not billionaire, but where do you think firefox gets funding)

Feels really sad this is what we see at #fosdem #fosdem2025 nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m deserves way better, we are all at a loss to not hear his keynote (freedom to not attend, you know, if you don’t fancy him)

Very cool to see nostr at #fosdem #fosdem2025 - thanks for doing all the hard work and evangelizing this to everyone

Sometimes I have to interact with the Ethereum eco system, and it feels like this…

I received an airdrop of VVV tokens because I use Venice.ai … I thought nice, let’s sell it and stack some sats… but here’s the rub…

the token is on Base. So I had to set up a Coinbase wallet to access it. Guess how that process went?

It’s shocking how with billions of funding and thousands of developers, the Ethereum user experience is still shit.

Genuine question - wallet wise, how do you think they could improve? Avoid metamask, rainbow seems kinda cool, and now phantom supports too (including Bitcoin). I guess what Bitcoin wallet do you use so I could study the UX
