Govt. interference in the form of laws/rules distorts free market and can lead to unnatural monoplies.
Govt. share of GDP as one measure has been growing since the founding of the country, in almost all Western nations. So has the level of distortion.
Biggest one is price fixing/control of money.

The farther away you get, the more issues occur; such as chronic illnesses. It's simple.

The term "democratic" or "democracy" is often (deliberately) misused. It shall make you think it's "good" a "right".
However, democracy is far from perfect or even liberal. It means the consensus of the majority and the more " unbalanced" (values, common purpose) a society is (e.g. old vs. young, homeowners vs. rent, left vs. right etc.) the more difficult a consesus becomes. Hence, democracy can and has led to authoritarianism.
Constant vigilance is required from each and every citizien to prevent that from happening.

Both btc and A.I. can only run on electrical energy (electricity). Guess this will lead to a relationship between the two in terms of resource use. Energy can either be spent on A.I. or stored im btc but not both at the same time.

I suppose that's why real trustworthiness and friendship are hard to find and priceless. It provides an anchor in life and sanity.
Btc may operate trustlessly, but society does not. Humans need others.
Under the fiat standard this real world anchor has disappeared. And so society has gotten unanchored as well in its values and behavours. Btc brings it back, a reality check that grounds us all.
At least that's what I hope...
