Last weekend I participated in a so-called Kennedy March, walk 50miles/80km in 20 hours. The idea is based on an executive order from president Theodore Roosevelt (Marines should be able to hike 50miles in 20 hours spread over 3 days), pushed for by JFK to do it in one day and first finished by his brother Robert F. Kennedy.
It was fun but also a bit boring when compared to trailrunning. Nevertheless, made it!
