Iโve had mine a little over a year now. No issues for mine.
Tried skittles, they didnโt turn out well.
I started with chicken breast and pork chops. Trimmed the fat off. Cooked on the grill and freeze dried. Worked great.
When I did eggs, I changed a preset for the freeze to -20 degrees. (Default is -10 degrees) This makes the machine get down to -20 before the vacuum pump starts. At -10 there is a risk that the eggs arenโt frozen and โexplodeโ all over the inside of the machine.
Only issue Iโve ever had is operator error and I opened the drain with a vacuum in the machine and water in the drain bucket! Oops!

I think itโs the best choice. The small is, well, small. The large takes a dedicated circuit.
Freeze dryer is back up and running. Doing an egg run. 72 eggs per run.
It was a good investment.

Ok, so first day zapping people was yesterday. Found a few really good posts that earned my appreciation. In the end, got zapped a few times. Overall, broke even!
