Remind me what the name of this flower is. Haven't seen one until the other day for like a decade. Emblem of Hawaii...
Iron slugs you mean. Get a magnet and check it out. Barely any copper in any coins anywhere. You know why? Too expensive.
The whole thing is ridiculous. Venus is totally uninhabitable, unless you can breath DIESEL. It has so much carbon the whole atmosphere is full of it. I'm sure that they need to send democracy there.
Bringing oxygen to that planet would very quickly lead to being incinerated.
That whole climate change thing is just an excuse to cage free humans and turn them into pets for an inhumane, vicious aristocracy.

My brother is deep into those rabbit holes, and he casually discuss "the 7 blood lines", "Kazarian mafia" and other things all the way back to Sumerian and Babylonian times.

It goes waaaay way back before Sumer even. Babylon was at least centuries after the time of Adam and it's really worth reading The Book of Enoch (I'm part way through it), the things in there are amazing.
Put it this way, if the individual Adam existed, then he was at least predating the founding of Jericho, just to put a timeline on it. And the archaeology points to about 11000 years ago, which is also after the Dryas, which was caused by meteor strikes that slammed into western europe, the atlantic, north america and the eastern edge of the Pacific. So, since that puts a date for the Flood story to be coincident with the onset of the cold period of the Dryas, Adam must have been at least more than 13000 years ago.
This book, The Book of Enoch, was deliberately hidden and burned and forbidden and the ethiopian orthodox church retained it and from there it returned to us. And then it was found amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls as well, and more than a few parts of it are restated in books all through the bible, and many of Jesus' sayings come from it. One I already saw was "the meek shall inherit the earth" and another was the promise after the flood that it would not happen again. (shades of 5th element narrative haha, when they return, so shall we!)...
Anyway, it's more fun to dig it up yourself, but the book The Apocalypse of Yajnavalkya stitches together a very interesting story from Enoch, Thoth, Hermes, and of course lots of stuff relating to the Vedas, pointing out how all the myths have more than a few common points that suggests they are derived from original stories far older than is yet recognised.
For me it was all those subjects rolled into one, I literally read Human Action in 2010, then the next year started hearing of it from Max Keiser. Who I could not take seriously.

The time is very soon. Next year is the beginning of The Great Tribulation.
Hold fast, the return is soon and we will be liberated from the beast.
65 And He sware by His great name: "Henceforth I will not do so to all who dwell on the earth and I will set a sign in the heaven and this shall be a pledge of good faith between Me and them for ever. So long as heaven is above the earth and this is in accordance with My command.
From The Book of Enoch. Chapter 2 "The Second Parable"
It refers to the flood described in Genesis.

I got the impression that the word "capitalism" once meant "free markets", but as the laissez-faire beginnings got hi-jacked by the rise of state power, "capitalism" remained the term, although the system eventually evolved into the "soft-socialist welfare state" with strong cronyism elements.
Capitalism was a perjorative used by the aristocracy at the time of the beginning of the industrial revolution. It relates to the word "entrepreneur" which means "to grasp between", the latin "capito" means to grasp.
It has become ordinary these days but the word "capital" did not used to mean the centre of power. The proper spelling is "Capitol" and the actual root of it, also latin, is "Capitoline":

Nobody should be surprised to learn that this is where the temple of Satan, I mean Saturn was. Lord of the flies. The symbol of the dove, Columbine, actually, I don't think it was ever dove, but pigeon.
This is just the tip of the iceberg if you want to dig into the linguistic and cultural history of modern words.
I agree, free market is a better word, but even the word free has been poisoned to mean gratis, when it also means liberty, which means, privacy and the right to allocate your resources as you see fit.
The whole point of it can be summed up by Hakek's market information problem. Distributing the decision making puts more brain cells on the task, and always yields a better result than this being done by a two tier society with the owners and the slaves.

Many of our projects depends on donations. It is important for us to know how and where they are distributed. nostr:note1vc94am6e8c0nak67497r8mgyel4yynknswx036z42egxd3wwzajq0wxkj7
Important how? Please explain.
Many vaporwares "look good" and the people promoting them make it "sound good". It's not a democracy, these people are taking a lot of time to research and ensure the funds are going to real and beneficial causes.
I'd love some free money to build Indra too but despite almost a year's hard slog I still am shy of having a proof of concept. I have to accept that I have to go to the fiat mine to keep working on it, and the sacrifice of the time.
The tone of these questions is a little rude, if you ask me.

Wish me luck, hopefully all goes well this morning and tomorrow I have long term accommodation.

When I get to writing a client, it will only reuse keys in threads. It won't publish likes and follows and mutes, those will be privately stored.
But there won't be any spam either. Just anonymous discourse without bad opsec.
Hopefully tomorrow morning my search is over and I can soon sit down and get moving again on Indra. The specification of message formats is done, and two types are already done. Many of them are just simple byte copies.
The option that appeared today isn't ideal, I'm sure that the noise level will be a little annoying sometimes. But the price will make it worthwhile, as will the convenience of nearby shopping.
The main goal for me is to fiat mine and stack as many seats as I can, so this all is concordant. There should be full time contribution from a second programmer on the task, and with the work divided, the goal will be reached sooner.
Sometimes you gotta push hard. Breaking that inertia usually leads to much better things.
I am blessed that I was awakened from my hypnotized hellscape at the beginning of last year. Life has got better and better since. Though trouble also increases, I am blessed with greater strength.
I dunno if you've noticed but a hell of a lot of everything there is no real options between them. Apple or Android? No thanks. Coke or Pepsi? no thanks. False options with zero real differentiation.
Banksters make sure all the money goes towards the spying ass garbage and deprives the honest developers the ability to fund real options.
Everyone who loves those two BIPS is a troll and a bigblocker, and most likely either brainwashed or paid agent provocateur.
It's been rough but there might be a ray of hope yet. One more found after I dug a bit deeper searching for classifieds, and good old dutch classified site olx yielded a new option. It's close by the airport, which has 50 flights a day, but the price is way better and possibly is a direct letting, no stupid middleperson. Well, after the last one, holy crap, ever seen an ad with minimum 3 years lease??? That was the response after we offered to pay a whole 6 months ahead. Bonkers.
Interview is tomorrow as well so ... argh, hopefully I have no problem with timing...
I'll be continuing the work on Indra, and hopefully my compatriot, who helped me build it up to the current state, will be participating more in the coding after we thrashed out the details of the protocol.
Our plan is to make the Indra relay also by default capable of running a Nostr relay. The protocol is somewhat similar in its high level architecture - an open ended protocol based on some really simple principles. Indra will solve the spam problem, solve the privacy problem, and most likely, will also save your grandma from alzheimers. haha. jk!
Ok then back to work nostr:npub1xc5wdftkfjk2kvgywnyln3vgv4ucn36ttmc8rrr7dc898g4p7aes6a6kt9 !! (Say in evil stepmother voice) ๐๐๐ (sorry couldnโt resist)
I have no money so I am chasing a fiat mining job. One bite came, for an Ethereum staking middleware protocol. I am very qualified but gotta find a place to live and work, after a week intensive hunting I am still empty handed. Exhausted af. I wish I could stop and work on Indra but nobody wants to help.
My advice is don't use any system that is insecure for anything with value or privacy issues. They don't have to get a golden key if they just don't let the providers upgrade to real, actual, and modern cryptography.
Yes, but upgrading to decently secure SHA256 is done by the provider. You can't just arbitrarily change to it, or the numbers won't come out right. And NONE of the TOTP users I am familiar with give any option to set it to use SHA256.
SHA-1 is now basically equivalent to ancient garbage like CRC-32 and any given database hash index generator (used for key/value stores like maps), a relatively good one like Google's HighwayHash or related non-cryptographic hashes. But honestly, with AVX2 almost universally supported, nobody should be using collision prone non-cryptographic hashes for anything. At All.
Fun Fact:
Standard TOTP (Google Authenticator et al) uses SHA-1 on the concatenation of the OTP secret and datestamp then trims the output to give you 6 digits.
