Nah, I’m done doing all the hard things. I’ve earned the right to do some easy things. I’ll do whatever I want at this point in my life.

I’ve done a lifetime of hard & it didn’t work out as planned. Why? Because the top 1% have enslaved the 99% & we are incapable of uniting and demanding better.

I’ll choose whatever I want at this point.

That’s the privilege of a life well lived.

Others can disagree all they want.

I’ve lived by the rules society dictated & still have suffered losses like all others.

I choose to recognize that the world is corrupt & seek to make it better.

This doesn’t require that I do anything different than what I’ve always done. I’ll continue learning & donate my resources to others & attempt to lift others when possible. All the while understanding it’s a losing battle. That’s life.

I’m not going to tell anyone that they aren’t living their best life just because I don’t agree with them. Too many people are already claiming to understand far more than I can. I don’t desire nor want to be a leader of humankind ever again.

I’ve led people. Most don’t genuinely care about other humans. It’s that simple. I’ve recognized this & can only control myself. It’s truly that easy. If others took self-accountability seriously the world would change.

I’m in my forties & have raised fierce children to adulthood. They understand the world is corrupt. They seek to make their lives better while understanding the world is not fair. Too many seem to think the world owes them something.

Fact is the world has always been unfair and hard for the majority of humanity. Most people want a quick easy answer & it doesn’t exist. We must accept that there will always be hard times and good times.

Let it be.

Deleted Dude, as I see Gigi's post receive huge engagement, I'm amazed that no one even said "boo" to your response. I felt your post... it's real... and I understand your sentiment. Both posts are valid... have felt inspiration for both types throughout my life. Both of your contributions are appreciated.

Anyway, kudos to you... I hear you.

One of my favorite songs. Peace is the way... or at least mutual respect and anti-war. ;)

That's awesome... very cool. I've had so few really good IRL btc discussions over the years. Back in the previous cycle, I used to host "blockchain" meetups, thinking that throwing the net wider would draw in more people. It mostly attracted people that had no clue why a centralized blockchain was a waste of time and only wanted to discuss whether to invest in XRP or Ethereum. ICO's were all the craze and it was all a shitshow. That more than anything pushed me towards bitcoin. To Ben's original point, even back then people felt like they'd missed the btc boat.

It seems like more and more people are seeing the matrix of lies that permeates our society. Which makes freedom of speech on nostr even more important.

Thank you... appreciate the correction!

One of the downsides of quitting X is that there are great voices there that aren't on nostr.

One thing I'm finding is there is only so much time in the day for social media. My hope is that the nostr signal will continue to strengthen with great voices to the point that I won't feel the need to straddle the two.

One of my biggest motivators on this journey was encouragement to madly stack before Wall Street got in. Maybe we could encourage our liberal acquaintances , who hate Trump, to get in before he does. lol

LOL... I engaged with that dude once, as he was spouting crazy nonsense. He quickly pinged back with hate and expressing happiness about my future death. Total Full Retard, and the first person I've muted on nostr.

It’s funny how cyclical things are.

Over the last year, I kept a presence on NOSTR—posting daily, responding to everyone—but I never scrolled much. I’ve never been a fan of the “Latest” algorithm.

A couple of weeks ago, I found out about the nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg 2.0 update that lets you choose your algorithm. Around the same time, the X algorithm changed again.

My feed on X had been pretty solid, but suddenly it was filled with excessive engagement posts instead of real connections—the stuff I actually care about.

Naturally, over the last few weeks, I’ve flipped things: I still post and engage on X, but I spend my time scrolling and connecting on NOSTR.

It’s cool how it just happened naturally as things progressed.

ONWARD.💜

I'm still tweetin but Elon's recent "epiphany" that freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of reach is disturbing and maybe the straw that breaks this camel's back.

Agreed... it's so weird. I've been meeting with a group of normies regularly for coffee/beers over the past several years. Have attempted to get them involved and in 2021 we all made predictions and I said btc would hit $100K in 2022. I was wrong., but I also shared that DCA was their friend, technology adoption curve shows we're still early, etc.

At our last meetup, my buddy who's a big Dave Ramsey guy, brings up inflation and how families are struggling to keep up. At this point, I just keep quiet... can only bring a horse to water so many times... and don't want to beat a dead horse.

So few realize that the train is still in the station. In this group of seven, I'm the only one into btc., and all the talking points have just failed to stick. Dave Ramsey guy always says "stick with what you know".

Sadly, there are times I feel like flipping them the HFSP bit.

I also wonder if there will come a time that relations will strain as they are so blue pilled and unwilling to take a drink from the btc watering hole. Time will tell.

Bitcoin Standard Saturday:

Bitcoin was originally reported by the legacy media as an anonymous digital currency . As we know today, routine transactions can be tracked. Thus, use bitcoin with the knowledge that it does not completely protect your privacy.

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; a well armed and well regulated militia is the best security of a free country." - James Madison, Father of the Constitution

That's a good one. Taking it a step further, imagine a powerful group of people that lied all the time and passed laws that made it illegal to question their lies. That would be wild.

May nostr forever be a welcoming protocol for truth seekers.

The main takeaway that we should focus on is not that Twitter sucks, but rather that Elon is the antithesis to freedom tech. Elon's mask has slipped and ultimately he wants to put chips in our brains. Nostr for the win!

Miscellaneous Thought Thursday:

Despite being bombarded with societal fears and negativity, find time to focus on helping family, improving personal life, and making the world a better place.

Manufacture the Win Wednesday:

As the saying goes, a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

Thus, if you can dca $1/day (0.000011 sats), by the end of the year you'll have .003916 sats, which is more than most people in the world.

Take the first step on your bitcoin journey tomorrow!
