I think people give Elon too much credit. His massive wealth is built on a government funded climate scam and he probably bought twitter thinking he would be able to bootstrap doge onto it and pump his shitcoin bags to the moon. The app now caches your follows and uses them to start up. The worst it can happen is to go back to the Amethyst version after updating your follows (or relays) from another client.

For this to work I reckon the zap needs to have an origin option available. If i get a zap I'd like to know who sent it. And vice versa in most cases.
