I’m not convinced that’s even true.

I think it’s the exact opposite. People never had the ability to communicate complex thoughts and emotions and memes filled the need perfectly.

The same with AI. People never knew as much as AI enabled them to know. Now they can access knowledge about any subject, instantly. They never applied the knowledge because they never had it in the first place.

You speak of the world outside of the U.S. as some kind of homogeneous block. In reality it is the complete opposite. Nothing would happen everywhere.

I really don’t care about the scary stories you tell yourself. Anxious fictions about unrealistic tail risks don’t dictate what I’m going to do.

The average American is fat, incompetent and completely propagandized. A bunch of red team blue lemmings who only can talk about sports ball or their retarded takes on “politics” or pop culture. Vapid losers are the rule, not the exception.

I’ve traveled a lot and I usually make friends everywhere I go. People speak English all around the world and I quite enjoy learning new languages too. I have more in common with people I’ve met in Argentina or Mexico than I do with people in the U.S.

This country and its inhabitants are a joke. It’s a giant surveillance state run by corporations who have captured government and regulators. The US government commits atrocities around the world which I want no part in. US architecture is ugly and demoralizing. The sky is filled with geoengineering poisons. It’s violent and dangerous in the major cities, which are filled with thousands of mentally ill drug addicts. America is also expensive so paying more to live in such an environment makes absolutely no sense.

There is nothing here for me. I have zero national pride and I never have. Removing my energy from the American empire would actually make me feel better about my place in the world. So I will.

I have zero allegiance to the country I was born in. Nationalism is a scam and so is government.
