This guy got a free piano online that is full of mold and dust and put it in his dinning room. He is not interested in having it cleaned or replacing it with something better and is demanding his kids learn on it. Don’t be like this guy.

I woke up yesterday to a large transaction being double charged in my Santander bank account. I went to speak with them and apparently it was a “computer glitch” and was happening to many people. They said it would be fixed by today and it was, but I was out $ all day yesterday.

I have heard this happen at other banks, and now it happened to me. I can verify that this is not just some made up headline.

I was playing Maple Leaf Rag on this piano an the senior center I tune for to kill time before my appointment with a resident. A woman came over and put her cart/walker aside and started dancing. Then she thanked me and handed me two squashes! The power of piano!

Yes, I would use a digital aid. The frequencies are close to those at equal temperament so I would probably start with that and then tweak it.

I think A432 is valuable and appropriate but is also surrounded by a lot of myth and bad info. I had my piano there for a few years and recently moved it to A435 to try that for a while. I have not found a favorite temperament yet though.

I had an A432 request tuning the other day and the woman presented me with this. What do you think?
