Yeah, I'd say I'm a fan now. I still have a lot of exploring to do, more things to figure out (like finding more people to follow who talk about things that I'm interested in), but all-in-all I think I can say some of my initial impressions were misguided, even if there are still some worries I have. It'll take me a while to decide how much of a fan I am. So far, being on here a few days has been more eventful than me being on Mastodon for 7 years. So we'll see where it goes. I think my next hurdle is buying a new domain, and hosting my own copy of ditto

Ask around. Make sure to interact frequently. Over-follow and prune when you are tired of seeing stuff. Don't be afraid to over-prune and start over!
