I took a look at this a couple days ago. Initially threw up red flags. From what I can tell, yes it’s true they just launched the program, but it appears the program is widespread and was initiated by a local fire chief that previously worked in a community that had this program. If anyone has another angle on this I’m not seeing, I’m open to hearing it.
