just another dude on the internet.

the more you protect something, the weaker it is

just bought a can opener for $1.50

got some coffee and adding espresso cost $1.50

crazy to me that these two cost the same to make and sell.

good thoughts, good words, good deeds

don’t be ruled

because not ruled men cannot be ruled

okay thanks for the tip, I figured it would be along those lines.

I’d much rather it this way than the traditional social media engineered to rot our mind.

nostr is still quick hit info but it’s not someone else’s interests driving my experience. so it makes sense that with that freedom/control I would need to put in some effort to curate my feed.

how do i find this quality on nostr, as a newbie its a lot of nothing or bitcoin slop but I know i’m doing it wrong because i find some good shit here and there

There’s no way we don’t have society, just shear amount of individuals/tribes we’re bound to interact. We’re social creatures.

So then the logical thought is if one is to prevail, it’s society.

But there will always be people who will die for freedom. Will there be? Or will that energy/desire be simply eroded over time?

Basically, my conclusion is that there’s no world where it’s pure freedom because we need to coexist. But the question is about the other option.

Will there be a world where there is no freedom?

laws get interesting when they tell you to do something for the safety (or interest) of others.

for example, it’s raining and I’m driving on the highway and I just saw a sign saying ā€œWipers on, it’s the Law!ā€

Now this is makes total sense, but the essence is it’s telling you (forcing you) how to use your property. *do we truly own anything in this world.

Obviously we live in a society and that’s the whole point of laws, to coexist safely and peacefully. But just interesting how society and freedom clash.

We’ve done a noble job trying to balance the two. And it’s swung both ways throughout history. So my only thought is, will this tension remain for the rest of time or will one eventually prevail?

there’s plenty of things to not think about

did we just do tariffs across the board as an excuse to tariff china and bait them into a trade war?

anyone still do two spaces after a period?

apologize less, own it and be better.

really don’t think nostriches is the move šŸ˜…

it’s all about letting go

it’s almost like this time around no one cares about the economy crashing because like, what’s that mean for me? gas is the same, groceries same, rent same. all still expensive and i’m still a cog in this machine

I just vibelined a vertex DVM search app without touching a single key.

Literally only recorded a voice memo and saved it on my phone.

Which went to my old laptop via syncthing

nostr:nprofile1qqsxu35yyt0mwjjh8pcz4zprhxegz69t4wr9t74vk6zne58wzh0waycpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchszxthwden5te0v3jhyemfva5jumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tc4839wp ā€˜s vibeline picked it up from there: whisper to transcribe locally, qwen2.5 via Ollama to understand what I wanted, saw that I was talking about building an app so it called my new build_app plugin which transformed my text into an app spec and then kicked-off my vibeline tools with mcp, checking my nostr code snippets to one-shot build a CLI DVM-capable WoT username search tool

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ wiiiiild times

Voice-memo in, app out

i barely know what’s going on and that’s cool af! i guess then it comes down to how close to your vision is it, and how tough is it to vibe to be your vision exactly

i lost my way there for a sec
