I've considered it but that would be a pretty big change and i think a lot of people would not like that

Likes can be spammed. One could argue that a “like” is not true engagement; it’s passive. Likes are dopamine hits without substance.

Attaching a monetary value to engagement (even if only 1 sat) shows agreement, appreciation, knowledge transfer—whatever you want—in a more active way. It’s an expression of value.

Further upcoming #zap improvements:

1. Listing all zaps received in the side menu, sort by received or amount

2. Long-press zap to bring up a dialog with amount customization, comments, etc.

3. Clean up notification feed to show “people are zapping your post, etc” and then show a summary instead of individual zaps

4. Zap privacy settings. Anonymous zaps, identified but private zaps, etc
