Being back feels good. New show art templates feels good. Boosting decentralized music feels good.

It's also worth pointing out there's only one spot (as far as apps go) that highlights music self-hosted or hosted with a company, and that's https://lnbeats.com/. You can go to the search tab and hit the "Demu" button. This will highlight all the decentralized music. It's unfortunate this music gets absolutely buried in the PC 2.0 apps. Some of it is people who have the care and dedication to get in the car and drive by learning how to write these feeds themselves.

It is open source, don't need any platform involvement. Build a rss feed with any of the new tags you want, host it on your own wesbite, and upload the feed to the Podcast Index

There's also a plethora of apps outside Fountain and Wavlake. Some FOSS, others not

I’m excited to make this process cleaner and easier

Value for value via the post office is a lot of fun too
If only these people knew what we did last with this disco ball….

Are you familiar with any of the new stuff you can do with a music that has podcasting 2.0 features enabled?
Hell yea dude, you should swing by the zeronode IRC server sometime.
RSS hasn’t gone anywhere. V4V is not strictly about monetization, it’s producing shows in an open format where any form of contribution is considered and thanked. Podcasting 2.0 apps have had lightning payments integrated since 2020ish.
Actually, if you come to Minneapolis at the right time of year we could perhaps pull a rooftop show off...
Oh dude, if you want noise filtration, I cannot recommend this server enough. It’s the only spot on the internet that I check in daily.
Zeronode is an IRC server, home to a bevy of producers, podcasters, musicians, programmers.
For music I mean, for physical art that’s more of a head scratcher for me. We do make a lot of art tho
