nostr:npub1k24sy39zjs7pccfcafcfghn0tcl96wht85tf7ygv3tv2cqa7kezqum26zw I am so sorry, and I understand that feeling of not wanting to lose connection.

Please be well, and take good care of yourself. (I'd say "and him", but I can already see you're doing that; there is no doubt whatsoever!)

Nearly forgotten what a gem "The Fire Inside" by Bob Seger is.

If there is language that better fits a concept and is more respectful and inclusive, I see no reason not to use it. Perhaps people are not used to it, but I don't think it distracts too much from the topic. If it does I wouldn't have done a good job in conveying the topic, I think, and it would have stuck out in the first edition.🤷

It is hard to tell... Galahad tends to take things personally even if he rationally knows that the other person didn't have any other option than doing what they did. And he's the type who would rather ghost someone than having a heart to heart and sort things out.

OTOH, he is able to understand people on a very deep level, so he is able to forgive someone who has done really bad things.

So, I'd say it really depends on the complexity of the relationship and what happened.

Lix would be brilliant in teaching politics, sociology, and geography. Always hopping between those when teaching, which means if you take her politics class, you will learn how human societies work and how topography shapes society - and vice versa. No matter which course you take, you get the big picture.

In her free time, she would teach girls self-defense and confidence so they can make their way in a male dominated society and not become victims of domestic abuse.

Randall is interested in everything, like a renaissance scholar. So, if he chose a teaching career, he most likely would look out for something interdisciplinary. I think he would feel uncomfortable teaching in front of a whole auditorium of listening students, he'd rather be doing field trips. Archaeology, perhaps? It has a lot of history but also science involved. I think that would suit him.

That Lix and Randall love Catalan poet Miquel Martí i Pol is a nod to nostr:npub1fgmpn258j292l2lega0tx0zuwnhzt732wu3363tlw0c0a9vdgt2q7elxxq and their story "Dance me to the end of love":
