We can’t have the infrastructure of the world drastically changing every political cycle. Democracy has an end date. It just doesn’t make sense when engineering the perfect system.
The problem with European countries defending Ukraine is that they’re preaching values they don’t really practice at home anymore—and that’s a hard sell to the rest of the world.
The UK is a prime example. They’d have a much stronger case if they actually protected things like free speech and property rights. It just feels pretty hypocritical to be willing to send British people to die for these principles on someone else’s land while tearing them down in your own backyard.

The internet needs moderation but not from a centralised source. Most of life is subjective—that’s what makes it interesting.
Right now, there are too many Twitter clones trying to make a single feed work. I think that’s the wrong approach. Instead, we should lean toward a Reddit-style forum model, where people can create their own spaces and find their niche.
Reddit got a lot right. The internet is about making the world feel smaller and sharing information across time. It helps you find those few people who share your obscure interests or introduces you to topics you never even knew existed.
Trying to achieve that in a single feed, no matter how good the algorithm is, just doesn’t work.
It's time for Bitcoiners and Bitcoin-based media to stop reporting/commenting on things in the crypto space. If attention is the currency, let's starve the scam of it.
