Hey lyn,
You probably donât remember me.
In Bedford I asked you if you were going to publish your book in French.
Happy to to see that itâs done..
Bought a copy to pass around to non English speaking collegues and gave my English copy to a friend . I bought another one for my collection.
Thanks again for your contribution
Hope to hear you again on a panel or elsewhere in the future
Until you try hardwood lump charcoal on the big green egg. đ

Peter,
This reminds me of the Guardian Angels from my youth in Vancouver, Canada â volunteer-based civilian patrols that focused on community relations and neighborhood presence. I believe they still exist in some form. Maybe something like that could complement your initiative?
Iâve really enjoyed Bedford over the past two years during the conference, and I admire the steps youâre taking. I hope your pilot project yields results and sparks even more ideas to revitalize and beautify the town.
Wishing you continued success!
They already think Iâm bonkers so nothing to lose đ€Ł
Iâll pass it on to friends and family.
Thanks for the heads up
Definitely a low time preference sport. Sorry haters but Super Bowl is the real shitcoinâŠ..
Mmmmm 1/3 egg 1/3 super fine semolina and 1/3 flour. Bonne appétit
Iâve lived in France for half my life and stopped watching TV around the time of Covid.
Tonight, I turned on the TV to France 2, (one of the public service channels,)
the segment showed a caricatural Trump and Elon Musk « the worldâs richest man », neither of which are popular in France, and their plans to (god forbid) cut government spending, recklessly invest in private AI, technology etcâŠâŠenter bitcoin,
calling it âanti-government electronic money.â This is the first time Iâve heard the word bitcoin on French tv.
They mentioned how bitcoinâs price has risen 50% since Trumpâs election but also highlighted its volatile crashes. The news anchor man then states that Christine Lagarde, head of the IMF, has warned Europeans to stay away, and I quote (she knows what sheâs talking about) because despite her warnings, her son lost all his money betting on « cryptocurrencies »
They must have at least spent 10 minutes studying the subject.
Iâm no fan of Trump or Musk, but here in Europe, we seem closer to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) than to critical thinking or open discussions. Still, it doesnât make me want to return to Canada, where I was born.
