I should learn to never buy store gift cards on nostr:npub18tcc00lqpysdsurg567dllzg7jeyr5wcyk2v6w23rx3s3ygyze2qv32nxx. I end up getting burned every time and left wishing I'd just bought a VISA card instead. Today's PITA was Walgreens who apparently won't let you buy prescriptions with a gift card.
It's really important to read the terms we provide about the cards, as well as the complete terms always linked to.
Note that we don't set those terms, but eBay and Walgreen's (in the examples you gave).
Prepaid Visa cards can be a better choice, although they do come with less rewards (except when we run promotions), and not every merchant will accept prepaid cards either.
There's no perfect solution unfortunately, which is why we try to provide as many avenues as possible.
