The UK really does need to loosen up their gun control laws. It can be unbelievably tedious trying to obtain a firearms certificate! 🙄
Any HK weapon handles beutifully! My guns ain't even legal. So... ya know! 🤫
As I understand, centralized social media platforms use censorship algorithms to keep people constantly active. Since Nostr uses no such algorithm, perhaps it is beginning to have a somewhat adverse effect on some users, making them realize that social media use is, in no way, essential to there overall happiness. Or they may be just flocking back in droves to centralized platforms. 🤷♂️ Idk. I'm new to social media in general. But I have observed much paranoia in my small feed alone. I can only suspect that many were heavy social media users before Nostr had arrived. 🤔
Block (CashApp, Square) $SQ is under examination by federal prosecutors for processing transactions for terrorist groups

Terrorists accusing well-intentioned businessmen of terrorism. How amusing! 😅
It's not the MOST horrific...
Next they'll take action to confiscate Binances Bitcoin holdings.
👀 That's actually a great deal. A house edging towards 1400 sq ft in my area would go for close to £750k+! Maybe even more now since so many people are trying to take advantage of the current low supply within the market.
I'm always like "Do you really think a country as wealthy and with as many resources as ours would have second-rate border security? 😑"
What are prices like in your area?
My mum is only about a 20 minute walk away. Same with my aunt and some cousins. I'm just glad that we're not very close to areas like the business district, is all. Kids shouldn't be raised in areas like that.
The state loves illegal immigrants. The more the merrier! Lol. No one I've spoken to believes me when I tell them this.
I can imagine property values plateauing sooner than most expect, within a year perhaps. Then, once the market pops, people will take a breather to wait and see how low property prices will go before demand begins to rise again. Of course, if immigration issues continue to escalate, the government will surely just swoop in beforehand and buy up whatever properties aren't being sold after the crash to house them.
True enough. My mother kept herself occupied with the rather large garden we had, a LOT of reading, piano playing (something my daughter also loves), teaching me how to play chess and typical household duties, of course.
I don't mind the city. My daughter likes it. There's alot to do here. Not to mention, I have a decent amount of family members who live close by, so it's never difficult to find a babysitter.
People are buying larger homes; I can't deny that. And most own a home sure. But, the current supply is minimal and those who are selling are doing their best to take advantage of current market conditions by drastically overestimating property values. I know some of the biggest lenders plan on increasing mortgage rates very soon and sure property prices may have seen a temporary decrease, but clearly only to increase short-term demand. Not sure what the current conditions are in your hometown. But... I don't know 🤷♂️. Everything's a mess.
Even if there was a sudden influx of these smaller homes onto the market, few would be able to afford them.
