Terima kasih atas dukungan nya, setiap sats sangat berharga. Di sini hujan deras lagi, beberapa desa tenggelam lagi, air mengalir di atas tanah mengeras akibat banjir sebelumnya.
PoW: Delivering Aid to Flood Victims in Pidie Jaya, Aceh
Plebs, today I personally delivered part of the donated aid from all of you to the victims of the flash floods in Aceh, Indonesia—specifically in Teupin Pukat village, Meurah Dua District (Mereudu). The remaining donations will be distributed to other villages that were also severely affected.
The aid was received directly by the head of Teupin Pukat village, Mulyadi (wearing the green shirt on the far left).
Together with his team, he expressed deep gratitude to Bitcoiners, even though they do not fully understand how Bitcoin aid works or how it reached them. What amazed them most was when I told them that this help came from abroad.
____
FYI:
Previously, there were reports that the Indonesian government rejected aid from other countries that wanted to help disaster victims in Sumatra. In local media, Indonesian officials claimed they were capable of handling the disaster. However, in reality, the government response has been slow and appears neglectful. The affected people are deeply disappointed.
___
The items they received, which I purchased and delivered, were:
10 hoes
10 shovels
10 pairs of tall rubber boots
10 wheelbarrows
(A detailed report of items and prices will be shared in the next post.)
After receiving the aid, they immediately used the tools to work together, cleaning places of worship and their own homes that were buried under soil after the floods. Many houses are no longer habitable, forcing residents to stay in emergency tents.
The village officials of Teupin Pukat were happy and relieved to receive aid that truly matched their urgent needs.
I asked the village head about the village budget and assistance from the central government.
He sighed and said, “As a newly elected village head, I don’t have the freedom to use state funds. Only a very small portion can be disbursed, and even that requires complicated and slow bureaucracy.”
He continued, “The central government, which holds the real authority, only tells us to be patient. Aid has not arrived, so we are forced to move on our own and seek help from anywhere,” he said with a disappointed expression.
Today marks 28 days after the flood disaster. If the Indonesian government had handled the disaster properly, these communities would not have needed to seek recovery assistance from others.

For those who want to donate their sats for a good cause, please help the bitcoin community leader nostr:nprofile1qqsrkjsqehugpc4507nnx94uk8krfcv4zvplfepggy4ghh0nupy84nqpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6ur4vgh8wetvd3hhyer9wghxuet5qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxghcunf0 from Aceh
Aceh, aprovince in Indonesia was struck by severe flash floods. Thousands of people were killed, and millions were affected. This is the same region that was devastated by the 2004 tsunami, which killed more than 600,000 people.
The recent flooding was largely caused by extensive deforestation linked to palm oil plantations and logging operations. Many of these companies are connected to business interests associated with the current president, Prabowo Subianto.
Despite the scale of the disaster, the government has not declared it a national disaster. As a result, official aid has been limited.
Most recovery efforts are currently being carried out independently by local communities like him, with little state support. Aid distribution and coordination are largely community-led.
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks for your support Kak Dhea. 🙏
HELP Aceh Rise Again: Post-Flood Rebuilding for Survivors
Plebs,
I have created an account and launched a fundraising campaign on nostr:nprofile1qqstdhxam7rxw5586xjwscsdj24fqhp93kzsh7xvjg7nnhc7mlh9aecppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyfhwumn8ghj7ur4wfcxcetsv9njuetn9ulwc6fr Hopefully, this can help reach more donations from Bitcoiners around the world for the victims of the ecological disaster caused by flooding in Aceh.
Here is the link:
https://geyser.fund/project/fundforacehfloodvictims
The main focus of this fundraising is to purchase equipment to help clean homes that have been buried under mud and debris. The goal is to allow displaced families—along with their children—to return home and rebuild their lives after the disaster.
Any form of help, donations of any amount, are deeply appreciated. On behalf of the people of Aceh, I humbly thank you.

Terima kasih dukungan bang. Salam dari Aceh. ♥️🙏
No second best bang, saya bukan siapa-siapa bisa mengumpulkan 15 jutaan. Terharu, besok saya ke lapangan kasih laporan lengkap kondisi di sana. Doakan kami. Salam dari Aceh
Plebs, today we discussed and decided that tomorrow, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, we will depart to distribute the sats donations from all of you to the victims of the floods and landslides in Aceh, specifically in Pidie Jaya Regency.
The victims whose homes were buried by soil after the floods urgently need equipment to clean their houses. We have already ordered the necessary tools. Tomorrow, we depart.
The total donation that has been converted into rupiah amounts to 1,000,901 sats, approximately 15 million IDR or around USD 895.
I was moved to do this because Bitcoin cannot be stopped by governments. Previously, our government was slow in responding to this ecological disaster. Even worse, the government refused aid from other countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, China, and several other Middle Eastern countries.
I believe Bitcoin is the only form of aid that is fast, effective, and borderless. However, trust is what truly matters here. I may not be trusted, but the sats donations I have received will be distributed. Photos and videos will be the only proof of the work I have done to help my brothers and sisters here who are suffering after the disaster.
I’m still accepting sats donations. Once enough is collected, I will proceed with the second withdrawal phase. Thank you beyond words from all of us, Aceh plebs.

🤣
If we had a great leader up there, maybe I wouldn’t need to raise donations. They only like our natural resources, but not the disasters they caused. Our forests are gone, replaced by palm oil plantations.
With this tragedy, introducing Bitcoin becomes easier—they can feel its impact directly. 🤙
When I distribute the donations later, I’ll also introduce Bitcoin to the disaster survivors 🤙
You can also create a donation page using nostr:nprofile1qyt8wue69uhkummnw3ezuer9d3hhgett9e6xktcpremhxue69uhkgetk9ehx7um5wfcxcctevaex7atwvshxxmmd9uqzpdkumh0cve6jslg6f6rzpkf24yzuykxc2zlcejfr6wwlrm07uhh878n2y8 if you have a bit of time.
It might help you increase awareness and visibility.
Godspeed !
I’ve already created the campaign on @Geyser; it appears to still be under review.
Current donation total: 406.450 sats
Plebs, this is an update on the current donation amount. There was a technical issue that accidentally split the funds into two Wallet of Satoshi wallets. I manage both wallets and take full responsibility for them.
100% of the donated funds will be used to purchase tools to clean the homes of flood-affected victims in Pidie Jaya, Aceh.
We will distribute the aid to those in urgent need as soon as possible. Thank you beyond words for your donations, plebs. I am deeply moved.
Accountability, photos, and reports will be published once we are on the ground. Thank you very much.

Thank you. Thank you plebs. 🙏 Your support gives us strength during this difficult time.
Thank you for your support. This help will be used directly on the ground for the victims. 🙏⚡🙏
From the very beginning of this disaster, I wanted to raise funds from the Bitcoin community. However, I was fully aware that trust is the most important thing.
Two days ago, a friend who was directly affected shared their sadness and pain with me. That moment broke my heart, and finally gave me the courage to open this donation.
Once the funds are sufficient, I will go directly to the field to distribute the aid. Photos and stories will follow. This is a great responsibility. Thank you for sharing and for your support. 🙏”
This is the situation after floods struck Aceh. Tragically, the government’s response has been slow, forcing victims to clean dried mud and debris from their homes on their own.
