CONFESSION:

Today I came to the humorous, but accurate, realization that the only reason I spend any time on social media is that my IRL friends have little to no interest in investing, macroeconomics, and even Bitcoin.

Related, the urge to unplug and permanently touch grass is incessant for me now that I am not trying to grow my business and brand.

What are your favorite examples of antagonists that change and grow throughout a story but generally remain antagonists?

Eg they are not “protagonist villains” like Walter White, and they are not “redeemed villains” because at least in some ways, they fail to redeem or their growth arc, while present, is stunted.

Usually an antagonist is static, while a protagonist grows to defeat them. But in some fiction, the antagonist grows and changes and yet still is an antagonist.

Jamie Lannister is an interesting example. He starts off by callously pushing a child out a window. And he goes to war against the protagonists of House Stark.

But then he gets humbled, has his perspective changed, fixes some of his weaknesses and leans more on his strengths, becomes likeable by the audience, finds himself pairing up with the protagonists more, etc. So he goes through a growth arc.

But then at the end, he still chooses his original side. More mature, but still ultimately bound by his same weaknesses. An interesting arc to watch, and one that probably would have been more interesting if the last season wasn’t rushed and bad.

Any other good examples? Maybe ones that remain more villainous than Jaime?

I'm torn between wanting to go with a peony pattern and showing off the mountains that dominate my high elevation growing...so why not combine the two??

Option B:

This bar is a much more simple way to bring groundedness to the potentially chaotic flower collage and matches the bar at the bottom of my labels

Option C:

FULL ON FLOWER COLLAGE

Simple and elegant

Option D:

The mountains are what I think of when I think of home and showing them off means a lot to me. The Peony Icon works well almost as a setting/rising sun over them.

Lost some weight by walking more, but it’s not enough. Target: 100 push-ups a day. Did 10 yesterday and everything hurts.

dude thats absolutely the way to go. Find what you like and buy cases, stock up and in a decade you'll never have to drink young wine again. Not a bad way to slip through old age.

Can't afford old wine? make it only yourself.

Personally, having grown up on a Pinot Vineyard, I'm more of a Burgandy guy, but maybe you'll have to convince me why I'm wrong one glass at a time
