Honesty is a by-product of valuing truth and goodness.
People raised to disregard the transcentals become sociopaths. Honesty is never introduced as a character trait along with other virtues.
In my view, this is the baseline of mental illness, a lack of virtue. Vice then feeds a broken mind. Once mental illness begins, incentives have nothing to do with human action. It is all derangement and must be identified as such.
reminds me of the travel passes they tried to hand out during covid.
I haven't used the term hurdle rate, but my number one question to people about "diversification" is what basket of assets can beat #bitcoin's cagr?
The first thing they struggle with is the idea that something can grow 20% annually indefinately. That's mindbending for just about everyone.
Then they struggle with not spreading out risk.
I am having the same experience. People are coming to me to ask questions. There is a part of me at this point that would prefer to not be known as a bitcoiner (security reasons), but I do want people to benefit from what bitcoin offers.
Criminals don't have wrongly aligned incentives. They are sociopaths. We need to come to terms with that reality.
Someone dealing with misaligned incentives swipes a loaf of bread.
A sociopath breaks in my door, steals my things, and threatens me with bodily harm if I don't comply.
it's easy to understand.
that's my view. monitor all inputs and if they are negative stop the trading, get out, and see what happens. the algos can do it faster than we can.
what happens when sociopathy isn't an outlier.
sold all of my bitcoin to make up for my Nvidia losses.
thanks #bitcoin for your liquidity...
competition from the communists? statism from the capitalists? the world is upside down.
that would be quite the step forward for an LLM.
that would be an incredible move on the part of the Chinese. They would wreck American hegemony in a moment.
over the weekend it is probably algorithms.
really? I assume they are all men.
not if the bugger is a sociopath.
