I think regardless of any bad we can say about Apple, I think we can say that they built a good brand. And I think due to this built up brand, they can do what they can do, and sell as much products as they do.

Bitcoin had two problems limiting it's adoption: (1) difficult to use and (2) it had a very low network effect. (1) was solved by lightning.

I've thought about the things I spend money on: my mortgage payments, groceries, petrol, clothing, furniture, ISP, electricity. I can't use bitcoin for any of that. The only place I can use it (ignoring nostr for a moment) is to pay for email service, VPN service (which I almost never use), That's what, $20 worth? Nowhere near enough for me to want to accept bitcoin... if I accept it, I can't spend it directly, I have to exchange it for the local currency first. Nostr zaps improve that situation a little bit, but not by very much. How much am I going to pay out in zaps as tokens of appreciation?

Network effect is slow and difficult to grow when you are far below critical mass, as I believe bitcoin still is. So for those of you desperately wishing for bitcoin to take off, you have a lot of work ahead of you. Getting sellers of basic services to accept bitcoin is the biggest thing that could move the needle. Getting friends to install lightning wallets and zap each other probably won't move the needle much.

Few years ago I found out that no-poo (no shampoo) method is great for my hair and overall health of my head skin.

For even longer period of time I am using only regular soap bar made from natural ingredients.

One thing I am not able to let go is a antiperspirant. I know it’s worse shit than other two above combined but I can’t help it. I smell like shit even after short period of time. Bad “genes” from my father we can say.

Deodorants do not work for me because they always leave me with an irritated skin in my armpits.

For godsake, do you know about anything that could possibly work and will not give me cancer a few years later down the road?

The project brings the word of God and also food to adults and children. It was created by Rebeka, who after suffering an accident made a vow to God to reach needy people.

Every 15 days we go to the most needy areas of Campina Grande - Paraíba Brasil, bringing spiritual and physical food.

It is voluntary and non-profit work, what is given to people comes both from those who serve in the project and from people who feel it in their hearts and collaborate.

On 10/12/2023, the children's day event will be held, the intention is to bring fun to them with inflatable toys, food, raffle for some toys, dynamics in a way that stays in each one's memory.

In the list so far we have 150 children to play, but this number increases on the day.

In addition to around 200 children, there are adults and visitors who come closer.
