Few years ago I found out that no-poo (no shampoo) method is great for my hair and overall health of my head skin.

For even longer period of time I am using only regular soap bar made from natural ingredients.

One thing I am not able to let go is a antiperspirant. I know it’s worse shit than other two above combined but I can’t help it. I smell like shit even after short period of time. Bad “genes” from my father we can say.

Deodorants do not work for me because they always leave me with an irritated skin in my armpits.

For godsake, do you know about anything that could possibly work and will not give me cancer a few years later down the road?

All natural shampoo bars are great.. thats what i use.

I can’t find them in stores near me anymore, my Amish farm stand I go to even stopped selling it. They started sell Dr. Bronner?

What is the brand you use?

Here’s the most granola thing you’ll hear all day. Some folks have luck with natural toothpaste instead of conventional pit stick, not even kidding.

i found a cheap soap bar that has shea butter in it, it definitely leaves a nicer soft residue on my skin.

dr bronners used to be pretty good, now it's garbage. way too much coconut in them now, and overpriced.

Im branching out to ordering on esty for homemade but for now i use from the Lush brand might not be the best but i try to get the ones with less or no fragrance. Im using a honey one now

Thank you

Just use rubbing alcohol.

Could perhaps try tea tree oil?

Essentially you need something that kills bacteria.

Wet your skin and dont use plastic jacks etc. Use something which lets the sweat evaporate easily of your arms.

If you do a search for diy natural deodorant, you'll find some homemade recipes you can try. Everyone's chemistry is different, so you may have to experiment until you find the right one.

Schmidt’s fragrance free isn’t bad. It’s basically just arrowroot powder and coconut oil pressed into a stick. Absorbs sweat and kills bacteria. I’ve heard rubbing alcohol works too. Or some other combination of baking soda/arrow root powder and coconut oil/tallow will work.

I have all this on my kitchen.

I think I’m gonna try this out.

Have you tried Lavilin?

I haven’t but I’ll try. But Jeez, 20 bucks for 50ml? Gonna be worth it :)

not genes, what a horrible thing to say.

it's from what you are eating.

the skin emits things that you are eliminating, and those things can themselves be stinky. seed oils are a major source of stinky, rancid oils. they are really toxic, honestly. i personally am allergic to them. idk whether it would be better to be stinky or come out in a rash but either way, they are not for eating.

also, compounding this, something you are emitting is feeding bacteria that have got used to living on your skin because you eat these bad things that give them nice food that stinks. your soaps could mess with the bacteria too. pH will alter what comes out.

i have recently switched to a diet primarily consisting of milk and i think it is making me smell better too. I only have to wash once a day and I don't wear any stupid deodorant.

oh yeah, and something else that probably will help is increasing your salt and water intake.

the state of your skin is also indicative of the state of your lungs as well. if you are smoking stuff then there is something that will for sure reduce your toxic metabolites.

No, I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol but I smell a lot- I was on #paleo diet a few years back, for a couple of years now it was a “common diet” if you will and now for a last month it’s #carnivore.

But I think I smell still the same. It’s a strong odor, but I agree sometimes it’s rancid.

I’ll try to keep a closer look on it.

yeah, rancid fats make bad smells for sure.

bad bacteria in the gut also lead to bad smells.

you will find that if your poop isn't stinky, that your skin won't be as stinky as well. poop tends to contain some of the rancid fats you are eliminating, same as the skin does.

skin basically is one of the exit pathways for both oil and water solubles.

fixes that work on your insides may take some time to fully clear out the buildup.

since about 2020 i had some tiny mites getting to big populations in the pores of my skin, i'm pretty sure they like stinky oils, and on top of that, some tight thermal pants last year screwed up a lot of my leg hairs, this is now clearing up rapidly with my new milky diet :D

for sure, fresh milk is a source of very fresh, very not rancid oils, and it will show in your skin.

I haven't tried any of these myself but I am a fan of this company:

I use a salt crystal but the real trick for me was cutting out absolutely all sugars, processed foods, and processed grains from my diet + increasing my fruit consumption… the combo means I retain my natural musk but no longer smell terrible despite not masking my scent when I sweat 🙏🏼 good luck
