Maybe an organization dedicated to outreach and traditional marketing? There have been no shortage recent waves of users fleeing one place for another, but nostr has benefited minimally, if at all, as no one even knows it exists.
Still struggling with the whole knots vs core debate.
I like some of what knots offers and fully support the need for additional full node implementations, but I’m not a fan of putting my financial sovereignty into the hands of a solo developer who also happens to be an aggressively misogynist religious zealot that couldn’t properly secure his own bitcoin.
You know what the core vs knots debate needs? A third option.
Where is primal marketing? I’ve yet to see any at all.
Also, for something that’s obviously the wrong method, why has it been the attitude of the developers and community for two years now?
I don’t have anything specific in mind to draw users, but the currently “if you build it, they will come” approach isn’t working.
If hoping bitcoiners show up to turn that trend around in a year or two is the strategy, nostr has already failed.
Unfortunately not. I’m all out of credits on that one. 🥴
