I guess I'm one of those #vtubers. Having fun talking about general topics, vrchat/similar, and games. Also #indiedev #gamedev. You can call me: Freak فْرِيكٌ フリク (still learning Nihongo). #envtuber #podcast #gaming #gamedev

lol. I've seen a lot of people push Monero, and while it is useful at times to do quick swaps to obfuscate a BTC transaction, most/all of these people mistake Monero as being superior to Bitcoin for all the wrong reasons.

Regardless though, private transaction systems are increasing in Bitcoin and most likely a new default way to transact private will emerge in Bitcoin =3

Imagine this:

Decentralized Nomen domain, nobody knows who made what, one point of true reference and address, and this can keep running, regardless of what Mojang/MS says.

Enjoying The First Descendant

Open beta went live a week or so ago, and I've spent a few hours on it. Enjoyed it so far and will continue to play it.

Beautiful visuals, beautiful characters, good gameplay feel, and sure it has its cons, but I think the positives outweigh the negatives (maybe end-game will have that switch, but I'm not there yet)

Side feedback/request: Possible to "Hide Scrollbars But Keep Functionality" over at the left navigation panel? (really hate the scrollbar appearing x3)

Mushoku Tensei, Last episode was great!

Really loved how this part of season 2 ended. I also checked out the manga to compare and I think the anime delivered this much better.

Horay for Rudy! <3

One Piece live action was actually good

Watched all 8 episodes, and was actually surprised. It's pretty good!

It's pretty faithful to the source material/manga, the production quality is high, and I like how... considering it's live-action so it's kind of hard to do the "anime" style, so they went with a "how can we make this look good/authentic" kind of way and it worked =3

Looking forward to the 2nd season and hopefully the same level of quality and care is present.

Love this McDonlands #JP ad

Wholesome and chill =3

I'm no coder, so you can ignore my post as a result, but Ostrich Christ why is there so much debate on editing posts on #nostr ?

A new NIP would be created for editable notes (already is one I think from what I'm reading), one or more clients will add it, others won't, market will play out to which would prefer to flock to and use.

Client A won't see posts in Client B.

And? My Habla articles aren't seen by Plebstr users, what of it?

There are UX issues in client A, but not an issue for client B.

Then start using client B until client A fixes it.

New clients will have it hard to design and dev more with this new editable post feature.

I'm seeing new nips created and added to clients for months and little to no one is bringing that "issue" up.

If you're a client dev, just add it (editable posts or anything else u like) and see how things go and listen to the market. The curious thing to do here, in regards to before implementation, is to figure out the best way to develop and add said feature.

Me? I'd like editable posts/notes, and don't mind a "show edit history" for the public. 🤘

How about... the "edit" is just the creation of a new post but bound by the initial post / post's ID?

Ex:

Post-id-1:0

*User edits and posts new edit

Post-id-1:1

And there'd be a "view post edit history" section that shows all of the posts they've edited before the latest one with the highest numeral value (ex: post-id-1:10 is shown, and :9 to :0 is shown in history)

So instead of adjusting data, it's creating new ones, and showcasing the latest one and filing previous ones.

Helping out friends with remittance (they send me stables, I hand out cash), cheaper and faster (for both of us) as to decrease transfer fees and exchange fees.

I don't mind. There I'd imagine there'd be some backend magic complications to deal with (that I'm no expert at).

For now, though, I'll hopefully keep in mind to post the client link + nostr id.

With that said:

I wrote another thing (it seems like this became a series x3).

The first "Nostr is Dead" article will release by the end of the year, among many to come afterwards.

Finding Waldo style. Where the style is very complex and randomized each time you run the app.

"Alright, where's the post button?"
