I guess I'm one of those #vtubers. Having fun talking about general topics, vrchat/similar, and games. Also #indiedev #gamedev. You can call me: Freak فْرِيكٌ フリク (still learning Nihongo). #envtuber #podcast #gaming #gamedev

It's funny and super cool how even if a dev abandons a #nostr client (mobile app), it still works.

The same can't be said with any other traditional special media apps or other services.

Finished playing Armored Core 6.

Good game =3

Only crit I have for it is they could've done the story presentation way better, because I didn't really care much for the story as a result it being not that good, and because of that I also didn't know there were even choices through mission select (bad UI for that I guess too) and got the bad ending x3

Although, after seeing all endings, sure its the bad ending, but I think it was the best ending in terms of... like as a viewer. I was emotionally engaged with it + the boss battle for it was the best from the looks of it.

Found retro anime puffs

Oh wait. This is an iOS release. Dang. Guess I gotta wait more for the android release.

This.

I pretty much mentioned the same thing a while back

- Show a "show edit history" button and that solves some of the issues.

- Have clients ping a few relays from the user's relay list in the background to see if there's edits. That solves some issues.

- Have edits as a specially reply (there's kind 1 post id, and there'd be its Kind1PostID:0, then :1 , then :2, then :3, etc, and clients present the highest number as the primary post. I'm not a programmer so this prob a dumb way to go about it), that solves some issues.

- A client doesn't have this feature? It shows it as a normal reply. Also, big whoop. People go to clients that does have this feature. The market moves around.

Nice!

I'm assuming you're super happy being able to read them.

I felt happy too when I want to a JP site and read a few words, native words and borrowed words, and my first reaction was "Oh shit I can read! xD" x3

Pretty much x3

Though when I release my first commercial bad game, I'd have it up there too =3

The moment you're interested in starting the development of the game store, hit me up, would love to be involved in some way =3

Made this Nexus Mods (and similar censor happy sites) alternative, intended to be built on Nostr.

https://freakoverse.github.io/degmods/

It's up and done in regards to design and frontend, all that's left is the back/nostr part. It should use the NIP for the long-form content that's in clients like Habla for the blog bit, but requires an adjusted version of that that adds "link" fields so mod creators add download links. (Also to connect with something like Steam's API to get game titles and thumbnails)

If any back / #nostr dev is interested in collaborating in finishing this up to deliver freedom to game mod creators, and bringing back full-throttle fun for gamers in the #gaming world, hit me up =3

Basically like DMs but not DMs and with a title field along with that normal message field, and a client that visually presents itself like an email client.

Discord has a character limit.

There's no need for a character limit on #nostr

A client can play with the UI design/function so present a 'fake' character limit via a "read more" button, sending the idea to users that the most import piece of text should be short and at the top.

Also, users can self limit if they want to deliver segmented points with their own threads if they desire it.

Primal.

Sometimes Nostrudel.

Sometimes Plebstr (android).
