I guess I'm one of those #vtubers. Having fun talking about general topics, vrchat/similar, and games. Also #indiedev #gamedev. You can call me: Freak فْرِيكٌ フリク (still learning Nihongo). #envtuber #podcast #gaming #gamedev

Yup. No need for it (for friends that want it because of the 1 to 3 games, I tell them to get a used switch 2, get used copies of those games, play and finish them, then sell it back, then years later do the same thing but keep, it if they want to always play those games, and new ones that come out, all at an even cheaper price).

I'll probably be getting a Steam Deck when I can / probably next year.

Does ecash publish nostr events for each transaction? At least then I'd imagine funds can be discovered more easily in comparison if they aren't.

"we've been hacked. Reset your passwords"

"Google, MS, Discord, and other traditional login methods are facing an attack, so you can't login right now"

> "Nostr users unaffected by these issue"

The benefit is that they'll have users that won't give them a headache, and infact appreciate them for the nostr login =3

The more I think of solutions that I want for problems present in traditional tech's 'solutions', the more I'm thrilled to know #nostr exists and stuff like #blossom and BTC/LN along with it, as they have created the building blocks to solve a lot of issues, and overthrow current solutions while being unstoppable and can't dethrone it from its from where it'll sit at the top.

I'm in love with the future that we're already on, that's flourishing more and more each month, and it's inevitable.

So it seems like there isn't a proper decentralized CDN service out there.

Looked into it and the available ones are running on [insert blockchain name here].

There was something called Coral CDN, but apparently it died in 2015.

There's also something called ZeroNet, utilizing bit/torrenting, but it doesn't seem like it's a good solution from the looks of it.

Sad that there isn't a proper one, however, considering all the tools we have now, the hole can be filled beautifully and can capture a big chunk of the market too. I'd go ahead and do it, if no one else does, when appropriate funding comes along. All the lego pieces (including incentives) are there =3

Hm... it seems like not many #bitcoin wallets support 'receiving' to Silent Payment Addresses because of the high computational power/effort it takes to properly scan for addresses that has coins in them. (For example, that's the reason why Bitbox02 only has support for sending, same with Bluewallet I believe).

I'm wondering if the solution here would be to utilize people's home servers, like their Umbrel, to offload that process to them instead of people's phones, and have a connection to their home server from their phones to check up on it.

I'd personally want that =P

Can't. We don't have the technology yet.

Best that can be done is something like this. Take it or leave it.

Finished Kingdom Come: Deliverance (the first one).

It's good.

It's not great, just good. In terms of numbers, I guess 7/10 sounds right to me.

I mostly enjoyed the environment and the setting more than anything else. Great immersion with its world design, map design, character design, acting, setting, and just going through it.

A handful of design annoyances and bugs.

The story was normal, characters were ok/neat.

For a point of reference, The Witcher 3 is a lot better (probably not a good comparison, but whatever).

Generally speaking, the story was unfulfilling by the end and didn't deliver on a lot of the passion from the start (not talking about not finishing the story, but rather not necessarily facing the main enemies that you're pushed to hate).

There's neat work stuff (like alchemy), but once or twice and you'd have your fill of it / never want to do it again if possible.

Combat is just ok (I put a tiny dot sticker on my screen for bow combat because I couldn't be arsed to deal with it).

So ya, 7/10 max, and I could see if people would mark it as a 6/10.

Don't think I'll be playing the sequel. Dug through it, and it seems like it's basically the same game but with better graphics, lower quality story, worse dialogue, unnecessarily longer, worse mission design, and the studio with its lead seems to have gone downhill having to alter the game in a negative way after half-way through the game.

So if one were thinking of playing it, I'd go with the first, seems like its better (aside from graphics) and you'd get it at a much cheaper price of course.

"Join my Discord server to find my mods"

For a lot of mods.

A lot of people are complaining about that, for example x3

I just had a WONDERFUL idea for nostr:nprofile1qqs0f0clkkagh6pe7ux8xvtn8ccf77qgy2e3ra37q8uaez4mks5034gfw4xg6

So there are mod sites, right?

Each mod site is a hub for game mods.

Sometimes modders make their own site and put their mods there only, for there own full control.

Both lose. One loses on content, the other loses on discoverability, and the user gets a headache.

What if all these issues were gone? And DEG Mods having even more censorship resistance (exponentially more) and more auto-marketing (same exponential), as well as more content, and more people on nostr with more activity?

This is definitely a 'much later' kind of thing to do, but will be so cool and do so much more good when its done =3

from:handle searchTerms

There's also quotes for specifics, and there's AND and OR you can include, and you can also exclude stuff or users too.

There's also search by minimum like or reposts, filter by media too.

I just had a wonderful idea.

Nothing new; many have done this tactic in the past, and a lot of companies right now do it too.

It can only be executed once a lot of money comes into play, which will happen at some point, so this idea will sleep for now.

It's more of an entertaining thing for me rather than anything else, but it'd significantly help DEG Mods + nostr

=3
