Some day people will learn not having a Google nor Apple account is the way.
This is the way.
Ra nods in agreement.
The saying is, "all your heroes will fall."
I hate the commercial transaction paradigm. I'm interested in interesting topics and knowledge, not making money from future friendships.

Mostly relevant still today. Oddly prescient.
Hope he backs up his messages if he ever wants to save anything.
FB accidentally banned my aunt and she was distraught because her messages with her now deceased husband were only in WhatsApp. Lost 10 years of family history, photos, etc all because FB yolo'd some AI anti-fraud system.
Imagine putting all your personal history in a system run by a corporation with total control and zero appeals.
Forgo the capitalist exchange of currency for thoughts. Enjoy free thoughts and vibes.
Every zap now could be worth $billions in the future.
If I don't pay taxes, the IRS and State govt will hunt me to the ends of the earth.
Yet, people sell fent to an entire city and "we can't find them, sorry".
Also if I even unholster or even show my concealed weapon to a drug dealer who just did the same to me, then *I'm* the criminal and the police can magically find me in a heartbeat.
I need more #bitcoin to bribe someone more than the drug dealers, apparently.
Some billionaire put high quality cameras all over downtown SF, but no we can't find the drug dealers.
*sigh*
I've seen the lean in every major city in the USA in the past year. Fentanyl has ruined a generation.
How it started:
I setup #ollama on a $250 old mini pc, downloaded a few models, installed openweb-ui, gave a few friends access to it.
How it's going:
The PC is running 100% like 14 hours a day with friends and family of friends using it. Some have cancelled their paid accounts to use this instead.
I maxed out the ram at 64 GB to keep more models in ram based in usage patterns.
I'm now hosting ollama as a service. People pitched in to pay for the ram and power without me asking.
Responses aren't instant because no usable GPU (AMD 680M) but no one seems to care.
#Privacy > speed.
Because hunts were so epic and rare they documented them. Daily life was foraging and harvesting plants by all members of the family and group.
Science!
Some of us don't have a robot vacuum because we couldn't imagine the ad-serving, data-vacuuming hell hole that is current #IoT all those years ago. And we refuse to participate in utter BS systems. None of this insecure crap needs to be connected to the internet. Any real #AI system can operate #offline forever. #optout of BS, demand actual technology progress, not business model optimization in how fast everything can be #enshittfied.

On a high level, look up requirements for citizenship on the countries foreign ministry web site. Start there. Some countries are easier than others, almost inversely tied to how desirable is the citizenship.
https://minimalist.travel/packing/minimalist-packing-list/
I've travelled minimalist for years. This list and ideas are the closest to what I bring. I skip the tablet/ereader and just buy a book, read it, drop it off at local library when done. I also skip most of the insurance because from experience every insurance is a scam whenl you need it. And it takes 6-12 months to get reimbursed, if ever.
You can find whatever you need, forgot, or want, almost anywhere you are. If you cannot take it with you, take a photo, and donate it before the next place.
Trust in yourself.
Also have a plan if you lose most things, like your phone, laptop, full bag, or whatever. Have some way to get at anything electronic from a local library or borrowed computer (like printing copies of passport from a photo, or proof of ID) if you find yourself stranded somewhere and need to prove identity to a consulate to get passport reissued.
Also, trust in yourself. Trust your intuition about people and situations. The world is generally kind.
